QUOTE(gekmui @ Oct 5 2010, 12:10 AM) Ic. I can still do photo editing in Asus N53jq rite? I love photoshop and some fb games. Will there any problem for it? the i7 processor has turbo boost feature, iirc the N53jq is the i7-740m means tb up to 2.93Ghz... and its a quad corei saw it have 1.6 GHz, issit kinda slow? QUOTE(lee_what2004 @ Oct 5 2010, 12:12 AM) Yes, can, no problem... bigger workspace means less things cramp together, will be better if ur serious about editting photos (i.e. work)Just for comparison, SXPS 16 would give bigger workspace since it has higher resolution.... |

no, its not the same, but the performance are near equal. (5650 is better, has Dx11)

@moo_zai if you want backlit keyboard... then only got SXPS... unless you don't mind getting Alienware M11x...
M11x is small, but the GC can handle games fine... (slightly better in a way than sxps since the sxps is using a FullHD screen... playing games on that reso stress gpu la) |

depends, if ur using software that requires or is optimised for quad core... then yes.
Eg, GTA4 and RE5 would run better on an i7 than a high clocked i5 or... rendering video files/images using things like After effects or Photoshop would work better on i7 |

QUOTE(HanJin95 @ Oct 13 2010, 11:39 PM) FullHD no lag... means ur settings probably go down to medium-low instead of medium-high.You want no lag high settings need to get something like the GTX460m/GTX260m/HD5850 that's puts you abv the 4.5k mark.... If ur good enough with medium graphics then you can get it la (fps around 30) |

QUOTE(Castreal @ Oct 15 2010, 11:57 AM) Hi,i'm interested in N43JQ, and at the same time A42JA as well for its graphic card. Well, the N series is also meant to have a better cooling system.Tho there's RM 500 difference, and A42JA has a better graphic card (2GB somemore), im just wondering if N43JQ is worth it (Better sound + USB 3.0)? and shouldn't the price be like the opposite? |

QUOTE(SoulReaver @ Oct 17 2010, 02:39 AM) Went to Pavillion today and headed to the HP roadshow.. the HP Envy 14 caught my attention.. I sorta loved the Whole Built of it as its not plasticky.. But slightly on a heavier side. Anyone ever encountered heating problems on the laptop? Cuz as i know, they have like oni 3 small itake at the bottom =X Envy is the high-line series already. Heating problems shouldn't have any, remember whole casing acts as a heatsink like the macbook pros. But then again... HP due to slim chassis might run hotter than other laptops... but not heating problem till overheat. This post has been edited by DoubleU: Oct 17 2010, 02:43 AM |
