is it worthy for me to fork out rm4 K for a laptop reflecting my usage for
-mobility -engineering software (autocad, ansys) -normal surfing -minimum of gaming -a lot of microsoft office usage. my scope now is to get either 1. acer 4820tg 2. Acer 5742G the price for lappy mentioned are value for money for me...thnx in advance... |

Better go with Asus X42Jr with i7 740QM + ATi HD5470@RM2999
unless you need longer battery life, go with 4820TG... |

QUOTE(PF T.J. @ Oct 5 2010, 11:02 PM) Unless you are looking for a multimedia laptop and for normal usages.... its not worth it... quite old model already... there's a lot of better alternatives out there Thanks for the feedback Acer 4820TG or the Asus A42JV, both around my budget.. So the Acer has a slightly better specs compared to Asus? Thanks in advance |

I'm looking for a laptop for my friend.
Budget around RM2,500. Preferably in the range of 14" Usage: Using the net Games ( the SIMS and occasional Team Fortress 2) Music TV series/movies mobility would be great She was looking at MacBook Pro, but I told her she could get a good laptop for a cheaper price. oh ya. she's a girl, so a laptop that isn't that 'guyish' would be good.
