Well, 4820TG is also HD but not Full HD which one of SXPS features...like lee_what said, overall 4820TG sure is better than SXPS but then again, if you are concern about the resolution (as in you dun game much and more on multimedia works), a FHD would be nice, can get a bigger work space (view).

But do take note that 4820TG battery life is way better than SXPS, if you are the type to go out often with your laptop then maybe it would be a nicer choice but then again, if you stick the laptop where power outlet is always available then should be no problem

So, conclusion :

Want overall performance = Acer 4820TG
Full HD and good warranty service = Dell SXPS 16 (bigger reso and screen also)

Where got adapter is 1kg ..well, like i said, if portability is an issue then 4820TG sure is the answer but if want Full HD and less care about battery, SXPS is a good choice

What about this two :

Asus A42Ja, i7 740QM + ATi HD5730@RM3599
Asus N43Jq, i7 740QM + nVidia GT425M@RM3999

Though Asus X42Jr is a cheaper choice

..already considering MBP as one of the choices?? ...well, please define your gaming preferences as MBP also can play some games (with boot camp Win7)...

Your budget (assuming the price of MBP 15) is RM6k.....

Alienware M15x, i7 740QM + ATi HD5730@RM5499
Alienware M15x, i7 740QM + ATi HD5850@RM5999

*do upgrade the warranty for security reason

Yup, and if you are willing to import then there are other choices like Sager and all ...

Already got PS3 then maybe can focus more on what mainly the laptop will be of usage ...if you going for multimedia stuff then MBP sure is a good choice as we all know that Apple products work wonders with their software/hardware...
