Anyone got any suggestions for a sub RM1.5k (lower the better) notebook? My friend needs one for studies, web surfing and some light gaming.
Expecting something around the Fujitsu LH520 caliber if possible. |

lee, I checked Lenovo Y460 in digital mall, and the GC is Nvidia GT 425M. If not mistaken.
I thought Y460 uses radeon 5650? This post has been edited by markypcs: Oct 10 2010, 02:23 PM |

For now, HD5650 is better...
i5 540M and i5 460M basically almost the same except 540M has higher TurboBoost and some extra instruction, The Y460 i5 540M not really value for it anymore, better get Asus A42ja... |

It's also known as Asus K42Ja @RM3,600 right?
Those specs is quite good. But for a light gamer, Nvidia GT 425M is sufficient yea? |

Yup, K42ja, though some selling on RM33xx on garage sales if not mistaken...
GT425M is more than enough |
