Hi all,
need help here, need to have opinions and recommendations:
1. brand - no specific brands (but good to have international warranty) 2. budget - plus minus 3k 3. specs - 15" plus screen (no mobility necessity), 2/4gb ddr3, 500/640gb hd, gpu (prefer 1gb for heavy graphics gaming/ graphics - need to kill a lot of time), good speakers (heavy movie watcher too) 4. size - preferably 15"
I will start working on a ship/vessel and not much activities can be done except playing games and watching movies. will be on a 3 months rotational and sometimes it can bore u to death.
thanks in advance

QUOTE(gogo2 @ Oct 8 2010, 02:24 PM) but Acer reputation is not reliable. Better get Asus. People recommend the 4820TG based on its merits. Stop defaming Acer, when you got nothing to back up your claim that Acer as whole is unrealiable.

hmm, not much I remember off, mostly just problem on the backlight shifting down/up due to the ambient light sensor which can be fixed by disable it, and the bios installer is kinda unusable...

Using photoshop I assumed? The extra ram on Toshiba would be a positive though ram is easily upgradeable, but it still add to the cost... While bigger screen is better for those tasks...
