Phased out already, replaced with A42Jc with nVidia 310M doh.gif
Y460 at most 4 hours...
Longer than that, back to 4820TG laugh.gif
or there is Asus U35Jc/U45Jc, 6-7 hours battery life but only nVidia 310M...

Not really, she wants to play tf2 and the sims.
But she doesn't like a laggy computer, it irritates her.
So basically, she wants a rig that will last her a few years but wouldn't deteriorate much performance wise.

Due to the HDD speed is slow....
A computer will only as fast as the slowest component, which is HDD in most case....

the speed of HDD itself..
, yeah.. too much junk in HDD also one of the reason..
you always need to defrag and clean up the harddisk..

using CCleaner , Defragler..

but i'm using Auslogics Boostspeed.. it is really nice software... i dont mind buy it.. it is really worth it.. the price is --> USD 50 laugh.gif

Ok thanks guys.
I'll keep searching around since a42jv is hard to find.
And Lenovo Y460 is more than what she needs.
Might as well add RM500 to get MBP?
How much is MBP ah? 15" core i5

Cos she thinks it looks pretty.
Hahaha
Just told her the price. MBP is definitely not on the 'to-buy' list.
