How to check Indah water treatment plant ah? Check with what department?
*
I think UOA need to verify whether the Indah Water treasure chest is within the vicinity of SG's compound. If it is not, then the treatment plant will be somewhere outside the SG compound. I remember there is one big one behind Genting Court but not sure if that have capacity to handle such a volume. I am not sure of any other existing ones that is around the vicinity.

Of course, you can check with Indah Water friends if you know them.

Do you have specifications of 288?  If you have, maybe a good idea to post it here for reference.
*
http://www.kpproperty.com.my/index.htm

maybe u all can have a look at the website? but for those who think to put lesser capital cost, 288 is more suitable with higher selling price to be appreciated in the future.

Thanks for the summary. But for anyone who read the above, the above is the spec for 288 and NOT SG.

As for SG spec, as i mentioned previously, it is out and now available at the site office.

may i know what is the meaning of main road? u mean next to the longkang?

The small road along longkang, which previously the road lead to the 222/288 show room. I am being told that time by Kp SA, that the showroom area will convert into road. They are widening the road along the longkang, this will become the second entrance to the vicinity, beside Jalan Gombak, since Furlong road gonna close.

Also, from my understanding from SG SA, the land near the bridge is own by UOA.

My opinion, they might build a wall there and close the road, hence blocking the few old houses (which is not pretty, no offence) there. Will probably still see them from top, but on ground level, it gets beautify.

cc from 288 thread.

Most specs are very general.

For bricks you have clay and cement. Clay is better than cement as they are less porous. A good test is when you drill to mount something heavy on the wall you can see what happens. Anyway not too much of concern as most are RC walls doubling as structure.

Skim coating a coating for making the wall smooth before painting. Otherwise will look like low cost apartment on the wall. Will look very ugly when you have lights shining on the wall.

Powder coated Aluminium framed for balcony doors and windows are the ones you see in 288 show unit. Much more solid and heavy duty and give a feel of higher class condo feel. Not like low cost units using aluminium windows and sliding doors.

2 X 2' tiles porcelain floor tiles (shiny finish) give classy finish look versus 1X1'. Today, almost all condos are using this specifications.

Quality sanitary wares very important in toilets, Vanity top and tempered glass shower screen.

Anyway, most of the above are used in UOA bangarsouth units and I believe SG will be the same. smile.gif

In addition, SG should have quality light switches hopefully like 288 too. In fact, 288 got better quality switches (with red led light) compared to Bangsarsouth.

Actually with the closure of the bridge, I think UOA should seriously consider opening the second entrance (in and out) for SG residence. This way, SG still gets the benefit of access from Genting Klang, Diamond Square and 288.

it makes alot of sense. And i do asked the question on whether will there be any second entrance, and the SA claimed they have proposed, but it all depends on the approval.

i rofl on this. anyway, SG not officially announce yet due to pending AP. But you can check the spec at their site office (KONTENA) there. Just go there and have a look and memorize as much as u can and come back here we discuss about it. haha.

Added on November 15, 2010, 11:03 pmOne way i can see is UOA build a wall or whatever to block the "bungalow"

second way is UOA to paint their outer wall to make it less "bombay"

First I would expect a brick wall perimeter fencing all round SG and slightly higher over there. A tall water feature or waterfall with tall bamboo plants as a backdrop. Better still complement with a decent pagola in the foreground so soften the background "bangaloo" effect.

i go Wiki: 'A pergola is a garden feature forming a shaded walk or passageway of pillars that support cross-beams and a sturdy open lattice, upon which woody vines are trained. As a type of gazebo, it may also be an extension of a building, or serve as protection for an open terrace or a link between pavilions."
