I have a Q. Previously I went for an interview for Admin Exec position. They ask me what is it that I really want, what job that I like. I said as long as not going out to do sales e.g administrative job lo. Then he said what is my expected salary, I said RM1.6K and he said but your previous job's salary is high (customer service exec 1.6 basic with comission about 300 bucks). I said I don't mind cause all I wanted was to get experience. Did I sound desperate? They said they would call. But still no respond after one week.

But normally the processing is very long u also can wait . but while waiting u can keep attending ineterview . good luck to u

hi everyone... i've just finished my exams and currently awaiting results... Wanted to get a job b4 my results out in mid of August. I'm doing accountancy studies so, of course, i'll be finding jobs from "Big4". I've been studying the companies' history and stuff. I wonder what else do i need to do/know/prepare for the upcoming interview? I've sent me CV to them last week. So they shld be calling me around this week. I'm so nervous as this is my 1st job n interview. Pls advise me on this matter.

You definitely have the chance. A company wouldn't be bothered to go through so many stages if they are not interested. Why it might take so long is perhaps they really want to make sure you are the right candidate. So just have to hang in there and be positive

Normally, fresh graduates are lucky because HR wouldn't ask much of technical question. I'm not sure whether this applies to the Big4 or not. Anyway, good luck and QUOTE(qintian @ Jul 23 2007, 10:12 PM) so... wat is the best duration.. after the interview .. to send a thank you letter???.. A day after the interview

QUOTE(coconutflower @ Jun 14 2007, 05:15 AM) Should use the word "not challenging" instead. sounds better? I suggest not to say anything bad about your current company. You should just said you are looking for new challenge after some wonderful job you have done in your current company. Or you can say you are looking forward to learn new thing that found in the company you interview which you sure it will improve your career.

Oh ya, one more thing. What if the company calls up and arrange for an interview, and they give me a date let's say tomorrow or the day after tomorrow. Can I ask them to arrange for another time like 4 days from now? Is it up to them to decide when?
