i went to a college for interview for marketing exec post. and the interviewer said that i don't seem to be selling myself enough. any hints on that? what should i say?

spanker..how do i gain marketing skill then? any tips?

i went for an interview. its a 6 days job where i have to work from 9 to 5 on saturdays. the interviewer asked me if i am able to work on such hours. if i said yes, will i sound desperate in getting the job? what will be the appropriate answer?

"Why did u choose this line when ur first job was in the hotel line?"
My answer : I think hotel line does not suit me so I chose this line. Who knows I might be interested in this line. Everyone deserve a chance to work once right?

"If you find it not suitable then u'll leave us after a few months?"

I have a Q. Previously I went for an interview for Admin Exec position. They ask me what is it that I really want, what job that I like. I said as long as not going out to do sales e.g administrative job lo. Then he said what is my expected salary, I said RM1.6K and he said but your previous job's salary is high (customer service exec 1.6 basic with comission about 300 bucks). I said I don't mind cause all I wanted was to get experience. Did I sound desperate? They said they would call. But still no respond after one week.
