u know those common questions they asked during interviews all those. about two weeks ago i went for this interview as a site supervisor, then as usual the common questions and all, and then he asked me one question that really caught me off guard. "what do you know about the construction industry?" well i do know the answer to that but having him asking that all of a sudden, made my mind kinda empty for a moment and i just tried my best uttered whatever that i can think of.

i guess this is very subjective as i doubt there will be clear indication that the interviewevers will make decision that quick and on the spot, well unless you really proved you are one hell of a gem, especially if they have options.

if you dare, then you may ask on your prospects or how have you fared. that will indicate how you have performed.

otherwise, just wait for them to response. ask for a timeline to response. if no news by then, then the chance of securing the job is low.

Even if HR department approves your application, the manager could and can say no to you too. So, it is really up to the person who you are going to work with, not the HR.

normally they would not want to hire somebody who is ill.. so that's why they ask you to go for medical check up.. but then did they give you any form for the check up? normally the company will pay for this and that means you are hired.. lol laugh.gif
