You can equip all classes. you can switch class (not job anymore,is what they want you to know because Job in ffxiv, is class) just by switching weapons/tools.

Do a little bit of research about craftings and stuff that you would want, see the markets about what items are hot on sales (Items like Moko Grass is not needed because is easily to get). Only get stuff you want and sell off the others. Is also important to only have items that suite your level. high tier items (Zinc Ore eg.) should be sell in bazaar a.s.a.p. They are rare and tends to be popular and expensive (Supply vs Demands).

I have advice for future players that are new to SE's(Square-Enix) way of doing MMOs. Is not like WoW, is tends to force users to use their brain to research, examine, trial & error on almost all the things in their Game. Like Crafting, there is now a theory that Weather effect our success or it may not, because there is certain time when you are a high ranking crafters, you try to synthesis a rank 1 items, it failed <miserably> but dont fret about it. This is what a good point of it. Where you get to taste the fail and when you succeed, you felt it worth so much. (Hardwork that pays give good mutual feelings).

And i know most players will have their thought that this game sux, let me tell you that WoW too when in it's initial start was very-very bad launch. Server crash and stuff, bugs and stuff. So give this game 4-5 months top if you feel you cannot handle the stuff. (Well although i dont find anything strange or game breaking to me, i only crash 2 time in gridania due to loading/rendering too much ).


Overall what im trying to say is that, if this game is too hard for you (the crafting, the battle tempo, the man--miqo'te) this game may not be for you as you are not a patient person. Especially crafting, is damn hell hard to do when you reach Rank 10. i cant imagine how to rank up till 20, may take me months (I gave up doing it and just be a supplier xD, although i slowly do so, but not so much, doing it for the sake of repairing.)

I cant find palamecia. I guess it's full and i cant join this server.

The character creation for this world is suspended cause over congested. A lot of other worlds the same also... have to wait a few hrs then try again... They should do something about this feature.. >_<;;

So many problem going through this game then ff11.
Payment method already took me a week to settle. Now server congestion. Playing ff14 is worse then divorcing lol.

dont worry, is not like they dont tend to fix it.

Look at it this way, the servers were officially opened like a week ago (Not counting beta, since beta was a limited amount of players and certain parts of the world only).. So usually the first month they'll be a lot of updates and fixes. But judging from the previous FF11, hopefully it'll become much better.

actually server stability is much better. Yes is lagging, but for a release this is a good stability for a launch.
