QUOTE(masamura @ Oct 2 2010, 02:08 PM) I'm not going to be paying for my 1st month... After beta and my CE, I decided this game is not worth playing at the moment. ouch.. i haven't even started lol1) I hate limitations on guildleve. I'm busy, and when I have time, I play for a LONG time. Why am I limited to 4 battlecrafts and 4 fieldcrafts a day? That's stupid. I want to quest as much as I can when I have time. 2) The UI is laggy. For FFXIV, I bought 2 ATi 5850 Crossfire with a i7 6GB of RAM just to play, but the UI is laggy. Doors hardly open when I go near them. 3) People. FFXIV has the quietest community in a MMO ever. Ask a question in /sh and not a single soul answers. WTF? 4) Trade. I tried crafting, and needed some wind crystals, and I had to run for 30 minutes before finding 1 guy who sold 1 wind crystal. Seriously? 5) Mobs. Maybe the game is just launched, but there's a serious problem with respawn time. Developers are insensitive to launch dates. I'm not gonna waste my time listing so many more reasons, but all I can say is, I quit. This game is just not worth it right now. Maybe after a year. Don't get me wrong, I played FFXI on NA launch day and absolutely loved it. I finished every mission in FFXI hardmode including CoP hardmode and whacked every single end game boss there was in FFXI up to ToAU. Made absolute lovely memories and met friends such as Kira, but FFXIV is just not worth it. Till then. just got the game first and foremost, a number who pre order for Standard got f**ked over Garlond Goggles... those who sell the standard edition over the net have asked their supplier and they said they will get it for sure when i received the game damn!!! none... what's happening now is that i told the game seller, he asked his supplier who said they should have the code and now they are asking their US supplier seems like Canada the whole region got f**ked... about 90% can't get the goggles Fine! we spammed SE Customer Service The Community? my US side is rather quiet too... Masa, we are coming... lol! maybe with Halflife and Evinkar in the game, we can play properly ^-^ Added on October 2, 2010, 5:16 pm QUOTE(Arzwart @ Oct 2 2010, 03:25 PM) Oh you mean hardmode when it got level cap in certain mission? I have a great fun with CoP when the expension came out. But not ToAU, quit the game when I get Lieutenant I think .. cuz many of my friend quit for RL reason. XD cap is not hard mode...![]() Nostalgia FFXI hard mode is really hard mode... if you played CoP right when expansion was out, prom was tough... actually most battles for CoP are hard... mammets.. lol somemore the exp penalty... after too many ppl failing.. they had to make those bc easier and no exp penalty... completed 75 DRG and COP quest before nerf!!! haha! QUOTE(Arzwart @ Oct 2 2010, 06:23 PM) Dude, I do my all my CoP right after the expansion come out (I think some of the quest I do it twice to help friends). you asked For me its not that hard or special. Only I feel joy and fun because played with my fellow LS. And that why there is no reason for me to brag about it. I still remember every BC we have to queue up and what a long queue >.<. Even fellowship quest have to queue up lol i explained the nerf in BC no brag and nothing special to brag about yea... lol.. i remember those days updating FFXIV... |

QUOTE(darkskies @ Oct 11 2010, 10:37 PM) Well galkas are allowed to dance which they introduce the /dance emote in ff11 lol.. While I was playing FFXI, these are one of my favorite signatures...When u see a galka doing a ballerina dance beside a taru, u'll know what will happen when the galka miss a step w~. These aren't mine, it was from a dude in game haha! ![]() ![]() This post has been edited by kira-kun: Oct 11 2010, 11:17 PM |

QUOTE(Ohiki @ Oct 12 2010, 08:29 PM) http://pc.gamespy.com/pc/square-enix-next-.../1127142p1.html well But personally speaking... I like FFXI more...just my own personal opinion... many times explained FFXI was better when released as it was released to NA 1 year after JP... a lot of tweaks happen I don't want to wait 1 year to get things straight SE has to buck up in the 1-2 months |

QUOTE(legaia_green @ Oct 12 2010, 09:31 PM) I guess the reason for bad reviews is yes, the User Interface is very user unfriendly. Should be tweaked soon, though. ipoh? Also because the whole gameplay experienced is changed, people are still not used to it. I kinda dig how the whole world is determined by player's actions, esp the crafting and gathering. You can actually play your whole game without having to be a monster murderer. You can just go become an armorer or a smithie or weaver and stay in town... and you level up. Woot!! By the way, I'm not be able to play for maybe around a week or maybe more >.< Back in Ipoh, using laggy Celcom mobile brdband. Tak boleh main orh. hehe playing from Ipoh! rawr! |
