Seems currently character creation on Wutai is suspended ><; Over congested, lol.. Anyone know usually how long this is before it's listed again?

The character creation for this world is suspended cause over congested. A lot of other worlds the same also... have to wait a few hrs then try again... They should do something about this feature.. >_<;;

Look at it this way, the servers were officially opened like a week ago (Not counting beta, since beta was a limited amount of players and certain parts of the world only).. So usually the first month they'll be a lot of updates and fixes. But judging from the previous FF11, hopefully it'll become much better.

Tho priority is.. I want into Wutai world T_T

Indeed... the crafting is at a stage where it's more irritating than enjoyable...

It's like only less than a week since the game launched (don't count beta). So as most mmorpgs.. the first first few weeks there will be more downs than ups while they tweak, patch and make the game better. For now, just enjoy the game as it is, not nec to go hardcore, unless you really want to. Throw some feedbacks about ups and downs of the game on SE site. Even with previous FF11, it was a month to two before everything started stablising and the game got better.

Lol pijal.. me, aki and ashley dunno pass by you how many times last night. We were chasingz a fleeing squirrel, than a spider.. they can do 500km dash like nothing only ;;;

i found best location to grind them fast is near gridinia.. if you head down past camp bentbranch near to black shroud, you can look for caves.. they have fireflies and insect swarms, which spawns inside the caves itself and are easy to kill.. they drop lightning and wind shards per kill.. grinded a bit and got quite number of shards in a short while

Think at this stage, most of the more populated servers lag also.. thus new new worlds.. hopefully they will find a solution to lessen the lag a bit overtime... crafting and storing stuff with retainer takes ages...

Gamespot usually compares games within it's genre. Thus it's a pretty strict review and rating done by them. With FF14 that is released with so many things not sorted out, it would lose it's potential to other games, especially to games like WoW. Just hope within the first month itself SE makes enough changes to keep ppl playing and make the game better or they're gonna lose a lot of it's players withing the second month.

True, but gamespot's review is usually a tad bit biased, cause they always compare with the most popular game in it's genre. Take for instance the sim and civilization ratings.. it's always being compared to it's previous predecessor, and not solely on the feats on the new game itself. Meh, i'd say don't bother about their rating as their not really true mmorpg fans. Even with it's hiccups, majority of us are enjoying the game Not to mention I think them ppl there are all WoW fanatics SE has already mentioned not to judge their game withing the first month due to the frequent changes they will be making. Yet GS has jumped the queue and started the flaming.
