This is so freaking true on the quality part but he really saying that the price is less than 20k (that is 95k++ for 1.6M3 and 115k++ for 2.0) with extra features like touch screen player  drool.gif with some added features compared to the current model. He ask me to wait first and see the CKD model first since its only 1 more month.
If new CKD M3 price will drop 20K, i'm quite sure mikasa (and myself) will very disappointed. I hope Bermaz will compensate us (especially for 1.6 owner)
with some kind of discount to upgrade our current M3 support such as 1.6 to 2.0 with special price. My list will be like below

1. We should allow to trade-in(upgrade) 1.6 engine to 2.0 together with 5 speed activematic for RM5K only. At least it will keep the depreciation not too high.

I think mikasa will raise his both hand to support me...smile.gif

p/s..mikasa we should do the petition to Bermaz ...hahahahha...

I heard the rumors that the price of CKD only less by rm5k. I hope it gonna be a true story .That's why there we some buyer straight put the deposit for CBU unit when he heard about CKD version because the main reason is about the quality of the overall car.

yup, that was what i heard before i bought mine... less than 5k... but less than 5k? seriously? don't think it's possible... should be more than that, but i didn't bother to wait cuz i needed a car to use.

all these while what i have in mind is that the rumour of only 5k difference between cbu and ckd is just a mind trick to clear off 2010 cars before ckd cars arrive.

BUTTERWORTH: The Road Transport Department is looking into the possibility of amending the Road Transport Act to fine motorists who fix television screens and DVD players in their vehicles.

State Road Transport Department (JPJ) director Datuk Hassan Yaacob said an amendment could be made under Section 66 of the Road Transport Act 1987 for making vehicle alterations without permission.

“It is illegal and dangerous to fix these accessories. A driver can easily get distracted and it may result in accidents,’’ he said.

Hassan said enforcement teams would check if vehicles had complied with approved specifications.

“Those with xenon headlights will be fined RM300 while vehicles with fancy number plates will be fined RM120.

“In the end, they waste money by paying thrice – fixing the parts, paying the fine and paying again to remove them,” he said.

Hassan was commenting on the increasing number of motorists fixing televisions and DVD player sets in their vehicles.

On vehicles that are factory fitted with DVD players and GPS navigators, he said the department would have to look into it.

Hi guys!! It is good be back after 1 week w/o internet connection!!

Just wanna share with you guys, i just came back from KB - KL last night, planned to use Gua Musang road but had to divert to Grik instead due to massive congestions on the main road going out of Kelantan. Went through the curvy roads of Banjaran Titiwangsa, i have to say My M3 as superb!! Superb handling, superb acceleration, superb break response, tapau most of the T&H cars on the road. There was one time a Vios and Altis tried to cucuk me on the corners, with a push of "Down" button on my pedal shift, those 2 kene tinggal liao, but the roads have many potholes, alignment sudah lari.... Traveled with my boot full of cargo and with 2 passengers at the back, with normal height of 160cm - 165 cm (gurls), they were saying they were sitting very comfortably and even sleeping while doing the corners the whole time. So quite ok with the rear legroom space.

Pumped R 97, managed to travel 520 - 550 km with semi synthetic engine oil for my 1st 1k service. The only thing that was bugging me is the position of the accelarator pedal and brake pedal seems to be quite off and my right leg felt soar during / after the journey. No pedals vibration detected during the journey.

OTW out from Kuala Kangsar to PLUS highway, went trough a very congested road, opposite traffic kept flashing their headlights, seems something wrong on the road upfront, thought it was JPJ / Police roadblocks, but went through a horrific accident, a Harrier was badly damaged at the front part (hood and engine hancur) and a viva crushed into half from the original length, spotted a leg hanging out from the co-driver's seat. Triggered me to drive defensively and safely for the rest of the journey.

Took off from KB at approx 1130 am, reached home at 11 pm, almost 12 hrs of driving. Massive jams along PLUS highway, every exits, and every R&R pun sesak, electronic board stated R&R sesak.... hahahah, it was funny though.... spotted a few m3s and m6s, but did not manage to jot down plate number.

In conclusion, no conclusion, just wanna share my driving experience...hehehehe.... rclxm9.gif

My lil add on of mine, hope you don't mine.

From the Cheras to Klang direction,
2 cars were broke down on the third lane and right after the corner, this is dam wicked! mad.gif Everyone were jammed braking.
Luckily the ABS had safe me and my wife at this corner before reaching the Sri Petaling exit.

The only thing that concern me during the utmost situation were the driver behind my car,
I was so freaking worried he ran into my @ss. biggrin.gif

Ahhh....me didnt notice that... tongue.gif
to me the paddles is quite fun on the M3. But a bit weird..cause usually left is for down and right is for up.
M3 punya paddles for down and button for up... a bit redundunt having 2 sets at wheel. And the paddles kinda a bit slow also...sometimes when push to D you flick the paddles..the gears wont change. Somekind of overwrite I think. Only when pushed to manual shift the paddles will response exactly as how you wish to change the gears. Any other ppl have same problems or mine is a "special" case..

Not redundant. This is the type of paddle shift that I want. Not those city paddle shift.

Same here. Using d the autochanging not smooth. Everytime need overwrite

I'm not sure bout that, but i did experience one time that when the gear was in the D, i pushed the down paddle shift button and tried to overtake a vehicle in front of me, suddenly rpm went up quickly but the gear did not change to lower gear, maybe the similar situation you experienced before. Quite surprised with that kind of gear response and i think it is better to shift the gear to manual modes every time you want to play with the paddle shifts. Gives you the power to accelerate.

You will know once you get your ride... Have to say the ambient lighting looks very good at night, even my colleagues impressed with the features. Looks like you are in the cockpit and there are many switches in front you to play with... biggrin.gif
