why are they letting ppl that go at night to buy but do not let ppl that queue up for so long in the morning like us to buy it?

Hmm, I got a feeling that Maxis is "controlling" the number of 16GB and 32GB to be sold daily by each centers. Personally, I don't think they have "out of stock" situations, well, not so soon anyway. The last time I went to The Gardens, I saw the Maxis personnel moving to and fro from the registration counter, to a room on the far end of the shop and coming out with the phones. I think they have stocks stashed away in each center's store and not visible to customers.

Think about it... if there is a long queue every morning at every Maxis centers, and from the thread postings above, everywhere is out of stock for the 16GB, don't you think Maxis should have put up a quick notice or at least inform people in queue about the situation earlier, rather than telling them only when the center opens for business? Am sure there would be agitated customers when they get such treatments. And now, postings mentioned that 16GB is available already?

Just curious, did anyone see Maxis personnels carrying boxes of iPhones into the shops at all? Trying to prove my theory...

Reminder : Yesterday when I change my IP4 due to always keep restarting itself and I sit there around 30min and got 2 person come and ask "still have stock for IP4?" answer is " no ..you need to wait 2weeks and come back"....I really dont know why he said that and after reading all the post here ...final answer " marketing strategy!! lol"....so when they said no stock actually they have(confirm have) at night still have a lot pol buy outright even around 3-4pm also....The worst is Maxis supervisor allow ppl to cut Q -___- saw it when I eating at paparich (they ladies keep arguing with that supervisor said that she Monday already register but no call no SMS and the supervisor give up then ask her cut into the morning Q which is start in 7am at the moment I felt like " WTF so not systematic!"
