Ok just an update hopefully not posted before because i lost track of the post so many people.

I emailed maxis and they called me to clarify few things. Firstly I asked about the warranty, lets say a person subscribes for the plan and then sells the Iphone away. The new owner can claim warranty without needing the previous owner whatsoever as usual T&C applies. Another thing is for postpaid users they actually can buy the Iphone 4 outright like now without a plan which is not stated in the website. For prepaid users, have to wait next month or so again no specific date to be able to buy outright.

Lets say i buy from machines is it an outright buy or still have to buy with contract..?

Is there a allocated counter to get a micro sim..?

I dont want to queue up in a long line for people to buy the iphone just to change my normal prepaid sim to a micro sim..

I know that the warranty for a 24months contract is 2 years.. but that 2 years show on the apple website..?

Anybody took the 24months contract can help me check..?

I just change my hotlink sim today at the gardens. Yes they will charge you RM 25 to change to micro sim as a prepaid user. And they don't give any adapter they just give you the sim. All they need is your IC and phone number than they will give you the micro sim
