machines puchong booking for iphone 4 16gb full, only 32gb left. Price same a maxis. ETA is next Wed according to the staff.

Lets say i buy from machines is it an outright buy or still have to buy with contract..?

As the topic suggests, seems the white version will be available from tomorrow at Maxis centres nationwide. How can it be possible I don't know, DONT FLAME ME, I know as well as everyone else its not yet launched worldwide.

I don't have special contacts or anything glamorous remotely related to maxis but this is how it went: I called up CS to enquire about my options about picking up my so called pre-booked iPhones since I opted NOT to spend my day in a queue and was told have to go at the 3 mentioned centres or wait till tomorrow as it will be available throughout Maxis outlets, MEP etc.

AND there will be an option for White iPhone 4.

I'm not interested in the white but some of you might, if you do no harm in waiting another day.

When I was at Maxis Centre Gardens this morning, they were offering the iPhones outright but then later canned it when the there were running low on supply. But I think they were a few initial buyers that manage to get hold of the phone outright.

I just came back from Low Yat Machines. They are selling iphone4 with no contract. You pay RM 2290(16GM) or RM 2690(32Gb) + Rm 8.80 for the prepaid pack.

Don't wait for Maxis/Digi to release prepaid. Just go buy from machines.

today i received sms from maxis saying that my credit approx rm200 which is rm266.00

i had a new bill dated today about rm148.00

Maxis also charge me rm118.00 as of today.

I quickly called up customer service to clarify. There is a flaw in their system. They noted and taken necessary action on the billing system.

Did you guys encounter such issue today?

Walked in Maxis about 0900. Walk out at 1015 with my 32GB baby for RM2690 with prepaid plan 500MB. Phone checked at the customer service area for dead pixel and camera discoloration. Everything was good and walked out with flying mood. All in all, 1 hour wait if you come abt 0900.

Just got my at klcc. Syok... Worth the effort...

Hmm, I got a feeling that Maxis is "controlling" the number of 16GB and 32GB to be sold daily by each centers. Personally, I don't think they have "out of stock" situations, well, not so soon anyway. The last time I went to The Gardens, I saw the Maxis personnel moving to and fro from the registration counter, to a room on the far end of the shop and coming out with the phones. I think they have stocks stashed away in each center's store and not visible to customers.

Think about it... if there is a long queue every morning at every Maxis centers, and from the thread postings above, everywhere is out of stock for the 16GB, don't you think Maxis should have put up a quick notice or at least inform people in queue about the situation earlier, rather than telling them only when the center opens for business? Am sure there would be agitated customers when they get such treatments. And now, postings mentioned that 16GB is available already?

Just curious, did anyone see Maxis personnels carrying boxes of iPhones into the shops at all? Trying to prove my theory...
