i think City is doing what we arent able to do so far. Blackpool is also in form, no difference with West Brom. They played brilliantly and bravely, a performance that deserved a draw at least (same with West brom against us as well). But City managed to grind out a result. I think most of you will agree with me that's what United is before the current blitz, churning out results by hook or by crook

The defend and gk to be blame but our striker only manage to score 2 goal against west brom at OT ?
Even if vds didn't make that mistake, 2-1 win still not good enough... |

The important things is the performance of our team. We need a creative central midfield.Even if vds didn't make that mistake, 2-1 win still not good enough... |

grinding out results will be difficult as the team is somehow not able to keep control of the game as it progresses.
I don't blame the defence too much last few games. But it's strange how we always let the other team get back into the game. For me, it's our defence, midfield, and forwards all breaking down at the same time, not any one area. |

agree with u.....
football is about teamwork, if one fail, the other must cover. in this case, VDS/Defends fail, the other must cover (attacker by scoring more goals). it may go otherwise... (attacker fail to score more goals, defend must defend the goal advantage) so, we shouldn't blame one person only, but the team must take the blame..... |

QUOTE(shirley_andy @ Oct 18 2010, 09:26 AM) I'm guessing the tabloid is making the "Rooney not signing extension" thing big.. Might not be as serious as it is.. but I do wonder what Rooney is actually planning. he want more money. january out. if lucky next summer(with far more cheap transfer fee). if he can do to the team he support as a kid ( im referring to Everton) y he cant do the same thing to us? footballer nowadays different from footballer i can say 10 years ago. So even at the moment he might be our most valuable asset but then why keep him if he no longer wanted to be here. This post has been edited by nazanto: Oct 18 2010, 12:36 PM |

SAF will probably sell Rooney this January if there's taker and if it's true Rooney refused to sign a contract extension with improve pay.
if his form continue to slumps and by next summer , he will worth much less. all said , hope Rooney forms will improve and he stay at old trafford but right now its a real testing time for him , the club and the fans. if not for the Liverpool drama the past weeks , the spotlight will be on him and SAF if by December , the football results put everyone attached to the club in the negative mood , the focus will be on the Glazers , Gill and the club massive debts. even SAF may not be spare . mood swings in football today changes faster than today's most sensitive woman This post has been edited by sunnyK: Oct 18 2010, 12:51 PM |

"massive suicide will happen all around the world".
manchester united have sold players much better than wayne rooney and could still survived and win trophies although CR7 may yet be the hardest to replace This post has been edited by sunnyK: Oct 18 2010, 01:36 PM |

No, i think Bobby Charlton was by far the hardest to replace. We got relegated just a year after he left.

Come on, lar. Nobody has confirmed anything. Even Soccernet is only as good as their sources. And their sources include shit like The Sun, The Daily Mail and The Daily Mirror.
It's all sensationalism man. Do you guys see any specific quotes from Rooney saying he wants to leave? Not a single quote in those articles. As it is, nobody knows what's going on. So let's not proclaim things like we're psychic here. Let's just wait and see. |

if rooney really wants to leave, there is no point stopping him... i mean, wats the use..there really izit anymore more point if he continues to play and the field where is heart is not it...sell him, get benzema, and use the money to buy a quality world class midfielder... someone like sneijer, he said he wanted to come, but united didnt offer him... sometimes i really question wat Saf is doing, we really need a midfieilder who can control the pace of the game, thats wat we are lacking this season, look at games like everton, fulham, and west brom.. it is when they hve the ball and possesion, and we cant get it back from them that we begin to concede.. we really need a midfielder... a solid one...not some youngster that had not been proven..any thats my point of view...wanna see what u guys out there think.. =D

same like what happened to the Vidic saga... almost everyday we could see him on papers telling that his wife is not suitable staying in UK, he wants to be with RM, RM wants him, he does not want to extend his contract, his agent frequently hinting a move out bla bla bla bla..... ends up with vidic still with us.....
possibilities are there, but let time decide.. just dont make things too obvious and panic.... there is still time |

right now it seems not a problem of getting goals but keeping it tight at the back!
