Maybe time to move back to 4-3-3? Perhaps with Rooney on the left, out of the spotlight, he can take his time to get back his form.

No, i think Bobby Charlton was by far the hardest to replace. We got relegated just a year after he left.

QUOTE(wongth7 @ Oct 18 2010, 11:43 PM) last season..all the fans talk how greatly rooney is..how irreplaceable he is bla bla bla...and now all of a sudden..fans are like.."rooney wanna leave then let him leave la..nobody is bigger than the club bla bla bla"....LOL..typical man utd fans...same case like tevez Yeah typical of us.We have great players who win lots of trophy's for us. Irreplaceable at that moment. Then his play drops, we just say oh well, good bye. Club > players. But hey, we still win more trophys with whoever that comes in next (Beckham, van Nistelrooy and Keane are prime examples. unlike others Yes, very typical of us. Winning things are so typical of us |

QUOTE(O-haiyo @ Oct 19 2010, 10:10 PM) Ronaldo saga is nothing compare to this. We all know Madrid is his destination. But Rooney? Why? Just because Fergie don't play him few games? Salary not high enough? Or his dream is to play City/Pool? He's the same level as Judas32, if not below... Exactly my point... urgh maybe we should have left him a player with more yellow cards then goals back in Everton... |

If we could afford (financially, not footballing term) I would just terminate his contract ... like Keane

QUOTE(O-haiyo @ Oct 19 2010, 10:28 PM) No sir. I would put him on the bench for the rest of the 8 months, until the Bosman rule take effect. But if its truly affecting the players morale ... if he has no heart to play, that spot on the bench has more use then to place someone there. Oh, and its 18 months before Bosman rule can take its effect.Unless, someone come and offer us 35M minimum... |

QUOTE(IIIaZer @ Oct 19 2010, 10:35 PM) i'm gutted as well but just wait and see what is the final outcome. SAF said Gill still prepared to offer the best contract. So i'll wait and see if SAF can help him. Short of coming out with a good reason on his behaviour and apologizing, i wouldn't want him to sign.Looks like he is trying to runaway from the family problem. That's my 2cents. He's still a MU player at the moment. So hope he do the best for the club till he really leave. |
