let's enjoy a John Lennon song everyone! (ironically, there's an airport named after him D: )

anyway. even under new administration, nothing can be done with Liverpool. to think they'd be in relegation, in October, 2 months after the season started, is just, WOOAH.

anyway, I'll wait until December to see the final league standings, and if Liverpool continues to remain under Everton, then hoooooboy, it's gonna be massacre in Merseyside.

Missing Valencia sad.gif losing him is such a blow.

But funnily our main problem is conceding too often.

With or without Valencia, our main problem remains in the unbelievably inconsistent defence. DEAR LAWD HELP US ALL.

I totally have no idea at all what makes our defense suddenly so vulnerable unsure.gif

Few matches ago we can say the lack of Rio commanding the backline but now? Still come down to individual mistakes and lapses of concentration I guess sad.gif

I think it's the defender's mentality that's causing this amazing goal-leak-fest.

Gah. I swear to God, even if the next game we're 5-0 up, I can't sit still. I just know, somewhere, suddenly,

"5 GOAL BLITZ IN THE SPACE OF 1 MINUTE"

just a remainder here, Man City current standing on the same point as Man Utd. And Spurs standing now is same as Arsenal. So conclusion is no one of us could afford talk other club demise yet.

LOL exactly how ive been feeling lately. Ever since Everton scored their second goal to make it 2-3,ive been having that feeling.
I still think the squad is very strong. Even our defence was good yesterday. We were just very very unlucky with those 2 goals which we couldnt do anything about.
I agree that the 2nd goal was really silly, but mistakes happen, even though i expect that kind of howlers from arsenal goalies tongue.gif (just playing, gunners fans biggrin.gif)

hence why I said December. Linkin Park - My December. Not Today as in Smashing Pumpkins - Today.

Anything can happen in the space of 2 months. Hell, could be Roy Hodgson getting the boot, shoving in some Italian manager to take over.

was it really our defence yesterday??i mean 1 came from a freekick then trough a deflection and own goal you might say, an another from a honest mistake.so is our defence on the slack or is it our lack of killer instinct in killing teams off??

why is everyone blaming our defence against WBA? The first was an unlucky deflection whilst the other is a rare mistake from VDS. I was fortunate enough to be at the game and no one was blaming the defence for the goals, it's the lack of killing off opponents and the mentality of the players that worries me.

let's just say it's the past 3 games (Fulham, Everton, Sunderland) that gave us that mindset.
but I guess you're right though.

they deserve to ... they know to score at the right time. rolleyes.gif

btw, from soccernet, rooney set exit OT ... not a big loss as his form is terrible so far ...

i believe the next club he join, he will screw up and retire early.

the 1st goal, anderson will be blamed and not evra ... 1st he lost the ball in midfield, then his poor defending quality concede the free kick ...

for VDS, age does matter actually ... 40 years old ...

so, i wont say unlucky draw for united, should say they just not good enough to beat wba ...

Perhaps the midfield can reinforce itself. It seems like we are not controlling the possesion like how we did last season. When against smaller team, we can control the possesion and need not worry even if we are only 1-0 up. Or even 0-0 at 80th minute. But now, somehow teams know how to de-dominate us, and share equal possesion. But somehow their bombardment look so dangerous that im not even sure if we can sit still at 3-0 up.

Carrick is not too bad, but i notice Anderson isn't as effective compared to Scholes Fletcher. There were a few breaks that we could counter, but Anderson passing seem way off line, destroying the chance. I like the new Nani. Always looking for a shot on goal, and not too bad too. But he do pass in times which makes him great.

When was the last time we score from a free kick i wonder.

Losing Rooney just because his "form" is not so great? We could have lost Nani if Sir Alex Ferguson thinks like you. Lucky for the whole of United, he DONT

What do you mean age does matter? Is Robert Green 40? I just cant help but to think you are a troll. U call this "not an unlucky draw"? And instead go for the "we werent good enough" How is 2-0 up and letting them equalize with a set piece and a mistake from keeper, not UNLUCKY? If we were not good enough, we wouldnt be 2-0 up in the first place.

Added on October 18, 2010, 9:17 amAnyone notice we concede a lot a lot from set piece? if im not wrong, Fulham scored from a corner. Everton, okay, no setpiece. Liverpool, was it 2 from Gerrard? Both set piece? And the free kick that west brom scored from?

rooney on his way out of old trafford as soon as this January as he refused to sign new contact or maybe a big fallout with SAF.

rooney suffered a big drop in form after last season game against Bayern in Munich

new destination could be real madrid or even man city

I'm guessing the tabloid is making the "Rooney not signing extension" thing big.. Might not be as serious as it is.. but I do wonder what Rooney is actually planning.

yeah. really wondering what is going on in Rooney's mind. He's now at one of the top clubs in the world, his manager is SAF. it's the best place for him to be in, to be guided and protected by SAF.

When Soccernet publish it.. we need to take it more seriously than usual.

Hopefully they can resolve their internal issues soon. Rooney is still a Devil.
