Seems like buyers are now in cant sell cant rent cant stay no win situation despite vp for quite some time

my friend bought subsale, cancelling this week. Reason, CCC compliance period expired for 2 months.

SPA signed on 2015 july, with condition of 6 months to obtain CCC, if cannot produce CCC then she got right to cancel. Actually she can give extension, but after seeing so many negativity, she cancelled. I think she will lost 20k lawyer fee total.btw is there any blocks which ppl are actually staying now?
