wondering where they bought it and how much...

he said around RM2200...

my point there is ...  if the battery can make a bit bigger isn't that good?  1800mAH maybe...  and it can stretch it to maybe 24 hours...  that is more than welcome..   maybe not for u...

u ON ur Wifi/GPS/bluetooth all the time?  u sure your phone can last 16 hours with all that ON??  if not try not to give those mislead info....

there are a lot more phone wt the same function can last well more than 16hours..  more than 24hours..  or even more...  not those "brick" u talking about....

ffuuh.. mic..  U always have the very first hand source...

no longer can contact u in ur BB..  no more using?  or block me?  laugh.gif

fren, their 16 hours use is nothing for a guy like me... average my wildfire can last me 12 hours on GSM network but not 3G, and my use is on heavy side and their kind of use is low to moderate...
try to surf net on your phone for 30 minutes u will see how fast the battery drops, especially those without mobile site or more simple site for smartphones... yesterday morning my battery drops 30%++ just from 8am till 12pm... coz i'm using chatting program (since 8am till 12pm), surfing agoda.com for hotels (about 45 minutes) and calling some one (about 30+ minutes)...
or download some attachment in emails and read documents and see... u will realise that the battery life goes down... and my phone brightness is not even 50%...
i duno why they don agree that we need a bigger capacity battery which make the phone last long... really another 200mAh really helps sometime but if it is heavier by 10g is it really important??? i used a Sharp 903 (JP Phone) b4, and it weights about 140g... and i don give a damn of it where i can get good camera and ergonomics value...

i think no need argue with them as they think their usage is great, but there is a lot more others ppl runing around outside needs more...
cheers...

I agree with you BuFung. Even the older Desire has a larger capacity battery (1400mAh) compared to the Desire Z (1300mAh). And the iPhone 4's battery is 1420mAh.

But maybe it's because the Z is already overweight at 180g so they decided on a smaller battery.

Anyway most reviews I've read about the Z say its battery life is acceptable (unlike the DHD).

my msn on my phone almost 24hours a day... tongue.gif my BBM/FB/3 email accounts/tweeter etc of course 24hours/day... and my pingchat etc.. laugh.gif

I am kind of heavy surfer on my phone too...

but the phone really impressive doing 2 days at least for it's battery.. biggrin.gif

end of the day.. any phone have to be last at least 1 day for whatever usage... don't tell me I am lazy to charge or whatever.. those are pointless arguement.. dont tell me to leave my phone on car to charge or don't ask me go find hotel room to charge phone when I am travelling.. laugh.gif

I hope that is enough...

@andrewlim.. yah... they should put in a higher mAH batt...

For those using Desire Z, anyone having an issue with the Z-hinge? Reviews say that it looks and feels fragile and etc, but what about real user experience? And the keyboard-typing experience?

It "looks" fragile but doesn't feels like it will come off easily. Just make sure u hold the phone tight and dun drop it on the floor. (for tat i can't guarantee u it won't hav any problem lar~)

Added on November 22, 2010, 12:34 amand the keyboard buttons are really nice to click on. smile.gif

But the only odd changes compare to HTC Touch Pro 2 is the 1234567890 number row combine wit the QWERTYUIOP buttons. Need some time to get use to it.

it looks fragile, but as long as you don't make a habit of flipping the phone open and close for no reason you should be fine. the hinge is built to flip the phone open with the weight. Just don't stick your finger in it or whatever, or abuse it.

Looks nice. I prefer the stock Android unlock screen to the HTC Sense one. What case are you using to protect your G2?
