hi benny, thanks for the headsup, alright i shall head over to get a faster card, which brand would you recommend...i'm quite happy with sandisk mmc's seriously..
chiakhai, i have been on a class 2 for quite some time, would love to have something faster...i will try to get one and rerun it later...but like u said..class 2's fine so far

hi everybody,i just bought one 2nd-hand hd2,the email and market android is the owner ,i cant log out..@@ When i factory reset the device,it will restart to winmo 6.5 back liao,then the data still on android os. *sorry,my english very poor* i hope u understand what i saying  |

Format your SD card and install a fresh copy of Android to the SD card/ Read the first post for porting instructions =) |

Ahbeng you need to hard reset not soft reset. I suggest you do this so you can start fresh and not use all previous settings. On windows mobile go to settings/all settings/clear storage
If you want to do android port see post 1 this thread. Format card accordingly according to post 1 guide

I restarted my phone last night and it works already! havent turn off my phone since the day i ported to android. It monitors and it does 'control' in the sense that it will let you know if you have reached a limit that you can also set. you need to download APNdroid to stop usage. |

Hello Benny.i need help here..i wanna set up internet for froyostone sense 31 using maxis
i already got to Home -> menu -> setting - > mobile networks - > then apns but when i tap apn..the screen black...i cant set up for 3g network.i mean not totally black but when tap apn..the screen show black
For ur info...here rarely have 3g network ..but always have gprs mode..so what i need to do

Which rom are you using, nowadays most of the newer roms has preconfigured in the APN , actually no need to set it anymore
Added on October 14, 2010, 10:40 amI noted you are using Froyostone - he has only PPP version. If by changing to 2G settings still cannot, you have to replace the zimage with a RMNET version. WOW HTC HD2 can also run WP7? this phone is getting more interesting as the days go by. It can now run 4 OS rite?Wm6, android, ubuntu and WP7?? this is crazy, all phone should be made like this ... vendor provide hardware and its up to us to install which OS..I hope when the WP7 comes, price of HD2 dropped drastically(below rm 1000) so I could join your club |

WP7 looks snappy. Hehe.
@icy I've used froyostone too, u never had problem switching between 2f and 3g band.. however ppp still is not too good, I often get disconnected from the internet connection. But just use a toggle widget to turn off and on again and u r good to go! No big deal.. froyostone is the only Rom with stock sense, other than mattc sense, which completely sucks ass.. lol..
Anyway, mdeejay has the latest version out, give it a try! Or if u want stock sense interface, choose a evo Rom, but in my case, WiFi tethering doesn't work. Or just take a nexus Rom and put on launcher pro.. hehe.. miui is good too.. kinda like iOS
