Ive just downloaded FroyoV2.1.7z and i've read this entire thread. majority of you guys are using mdeejay2.2 now. im guessing mdeejay is better than froyov2.1.7z?

Latest Mdeejay here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=780525
i'd suggest you save your personal files (music, pictures, backups etc) from the sd on your computer
format the sd card
unrar/unzip the new android file to it
copy back your personal files
run android as with the froyo build :-)

btw i dunno how to sync android with gmail, i sync all my contacts and calender with gmail. much easier for me...
*
thanks! can i just right click sd card and format it like normal?

Ive just installed mdeejay 2.3. its fantastic. i can now forget about my WM. the only problem i have now is that i cant get to sync my outlook contacts with my droid. the only way to do it is to export my outlook contacts into gmail and sync my gmail with my phone.

i've tried using marketplace and to my surprise it works too. but somehow i cant get to install fb app

What do you mean struggling ??Download the latest brut version 16 . It works seamlessly well - no need to do any special settings. Just launch and ready to go

Download Papgo X5 from the forum lowyat - browswe there and find your download link : http://forum.lowyat.net/topic/1215073
*
I tried using PapagoX5 but the map seems incomplete. only got major highways and landmark in KL area and not the small roads.
Does brut takes up data connection? i dont have data on my phone.

benny, before i try android on my hd2,i hav few questions wan to ask u:-
a) all the software, flash data, rom version &etc is free?bcaz shop pda wan to charge me rm100for change my hd2 to android with reason they wan to buy a new rom version, android os,etc frm  some where.
b) can i easily change back to original win6.5 after my hd2had converted to android?
c) after i flash my hh2 to android os (wit follow intrustion you sharing here).can my hd2 still  using win 6.5? i mean double os in my hd2.something like hav an icon for me to switch which os (win 6.5 or android) i wan to use.
*
whoa...RM100 to change to android. thats pure profit wei. dont kena con. everything is free here..thankts to xda developers. the only cost here is time.
if you want to port to android, you will still need your WM to boot your android. so basically u start your android from your WM. hence you will still have you WM even if you change to android. so no issues about keeping your WM.
I'm using android for a few weeks now and if possible i dont mind clearing off my WM entirely. android is so much better to use.

First of all did you download the correct version - there are different versions for different processor . You run 3G watchdog as a WIDGET not execute it from menu.

After you have set it as widget, tap on it - go to Settings and set your requirements
*
I installed 0.23.2
it says it is unable to gather enough technical data about my phone. and asked me to check if 3G is active. i have turned on everything there is to turn on on my phone but still cant work.

try press on the "hang up" key and press the mobile network to get internet turn on, wait for a few seconds, and try to open the application again. Most probably is that you still havent on the mobile network (3g).

I realised this 3g watchdog only monitor the usage but it doesnt control and stop the usage... hmm.gif
*
I restarted my phone last night and it works already! havent turn off my phone since the day i ported to android. tongue.gif
It monitors and it does 'control' in the sense that it will let you know if you have reached a limit that you can also set.
you need to download APNdroid to stop usage.

hi guys, just wondering, which build are you guys currently using? i've been switching between mdeejay's several builds and they are all relatively good and i'd say the easiest and the most complete one out there but i'm having problem with the low in call volume.
would like to try others and see. any recommendations?

After testing MDJ DHD 4.3 rom is more stable but somehow it has stuttering delay when drag down the notification bar, market download speed still slow everything else is good and stable than MDJ DHD 4.0,

Im returning back to Cedesmith DHD Beta2,
my reason ;
-Market download speed was fast (<- my main reason)
-Fast drag down on notification bar
-Smooth 720p (mp4) video playback,
-Camera & camcorder fully works, (via fix)
*
i'm using MDJ Froyo Sense Matted 1.3, and i've tried several other MDJ rom as well.
Stuttering delay when drag down the notification bar seems to be a common issue with all others MDJ rom as well.
but apart from that, and also camera still got some issue i.e, no zooming feature, i'm pretty happy with it
