QUOTE(benny888 @ Oct 14 2010, 10:34 AM) This is for 3G . Since you said your area is weak use the 2G settings instead. Which rom are you using, nowadays most of the newer roms has preconfigured in the APN , actually no need to set it anymore i'm currently using froyostone sense 3.1..i'm already try connect without setting apn earlier but i cant connect ...for ur info i'm also using miri v17 |

QUOTE(ChiaKhai @ Oct 14 2010, 12:51 PM) WP7 looks snappy. Hehe. Thanks..i will try it now.. @icy I've used froyostone too, u never had problem switching between 2f and 3g band.. however ppp still is not too good, I often get disconnected from the internet connection. But just use a toggle widget to turn off and on again and u r good to go! No big deal.. froyostone is the only Rom with stock sense, other than mattc sense, which completely sucks ass.. lol.. Anyway, mdeejay has the latest version out, give it a try! Or if u want stock sense interface, choose a evo Rom, but in my case, WiFi tethering doesn't work. Or just take a nexus Rom and put on launcher pro.. hehe.. miui is good too.. kinda like iOS This post has been edited by ic_boyz85: Oct 14 2010, 07:24 PM |

QUOTE(benny888 @ Oct 14 2010, 07:45 PM) This is HD version based on HTC Desire HD : the camera does not work. If you want a full working version, try Mdeejay Sense 3.0 ( based on latest Froyo build ) Thanks..currently trying Mdeejay FroYo HD v.3.5.1 and now downloading Mdeejay Sense 3.0 ( based on latest Froyo build ) http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=807333 |

QUOTE(mytown @ Oct 18 2010, 07:39 PM) How's your feedback on this version? So far no blue screen happen to me and for problem 2 (it's happened when i'm using v 3.1 )..so far no issue to me for v 3.2 >< I tried it. though the data drop problems resolved but new problems arises. 1) while booting into android from WM, occasionally blue screen came up and stop there. 2) wake up from sleep causes freeze in dark screen. both problems are not consistent. However, already twice freezes upon waking up within 4 hours. looks like i am gonna stick with mdeejay froyo sense series for time being. anyway i'm just upgrading from v.3.1 to 3.2 by replacing the z.image and the system.. Hello guys..just one question..i 'm trying to use Gen Y dual boot to exchange boot from window mobile and android...
btw i kinda dont understand this phrase mean " v1.0.6.0 and newer: "AndroidBootFolder"="string" ("": boot from root of storage (e.g. \Storage Card\haret.exe)| "andboot": boot from \Storage Card\Andboot\haret.exe, string can be edited in registry) " What's that mean? How should i put that on my registry..Its still not clear to me BTW now i'm kinda happy with my kingston 16gb micro sdhc class 10 haha This post has been edited by ic_boyz85: Oct 27 2010, 07:06 PM |

This is my experience, hope it helps you to make a right choice. I converted my HD2 to Android and I must say I am very happy. I am currently using Mdeejay Desire HD v3.7 with Hastarin r8. the result is really good, no hang, no freeze, no music shuttering, internet is seemingly faster than other Hastarin's Kernels (I tried many of his build and find v3.7 is the best). Hi ..can u help me explain how to exchange current kernel with new one especially hastarin r8..i kinda confused with their guide..I'm trying to change the kernel using their guide but ended up failed and only showing Htc logo and never booting into android... BTW currently i;m using froyostone sense 3.2.. |

QUOTE(wm007 @ Nov 2 2010, 01:46 PM) There are few methods to upgrade the Kernel. You can do a search in xda forum. However, this is what I am using and may not be the best method....(you can use ES explorer or any file manager software as long as you see the files/folder as mentioned below) Thank you..its working.. - USB link to PC and select Disk Drive - copy the whole extracted folder to sdcard (the folder name is hastarin_r8). I create a folder in sdcard to store the kernel folder. - disconnect the USB - using root explorer, copy the zImage from hastarin_r8 folder to Android folder. Ie From: /sdcard/Android Kernel/hastarin_r8/zImage To: /sdcard/Android/ (replace the zImage file) - copy the bcm4329.ko and tun.ko from hastarin_r8 to ie From: /sdcard/Android Kernel/hastarin_r8/root/system/lib/modules/ bcm4329.ko and tun.ko To: /system//lib/modules/ (replace the bcm4329.ko and tun.ko, you have to copy and paste the file one by one) - Power off the phone and restart This post has been edited by ic_boyz85: Nov 2 2010, 07:45 PM |

Hello guys...Need some help...if i wanna put many android build in my sd card..how to make sure that the build didnt clash with each other..i mean now i'm using froyostone sense 3.2..but however when i wanna try load bangster or hd2froyo its just load up the froyostone sense 3.2..
Btw for ur info the froyostone sense 3.2 android folder was put on sd with name android and bangster also hd2froyo with their name android renamed to bangster and hd2 froyo.. What should i do to make sure each android build boot separate from each other? This post has been edited by ic_boyz85: Nov 4 2010, 10:45 AM |
