did u apply ext2 and also the lagfix v1+? ..

, better specs, bigger and much more 'powerful' screen, lots of samsung firmware to play with ... the only thing that loses out is the qwerty keybaord (milestone got physical keyboard right?)

I understand that this Milestone XT720 also got some advantage where it has 8mp camera, and also got HDMi.

but the main point that make me more interestd with Galaxy S is.. it has secondary camera..
so that I can make video call with my fiance..

second camera does lack at other android phone, dont know why actually, if that is your main concern, i can confirm galaxy s can straight away make video calls without any apps.

JPH is laggy, laggier than the JG8 i was on.

I am on JG4 with Voodo as well.. Last night just downloaded YM from Android Market.. no prob at all..

Same for me. I am on JG4 and voodoo lagfix. No problem with my phone. I saw you post few pages back. Seems like you screwed up your firmware. Maybe you want to re-flash your phone.

JG4 with Voodoo. No problem download from marketplace by the time of this posting. At first I did experience a delay in starting to download, but that is more likely a connection problem.
Only 2 days on Voodoo fix...

i think you better wipe the phone clean first

After using it for a few hours.
These are what I face on JPH -> homescreen gets choppy at samsung feeds
Choppy when I switch between homescreen and app drawer
Screen autolock acting weird, i disabled it using switchpro and it activated by itself

samsung feeds is a memory eater, remove it.
if you are using samsung widget then the home screen will get choppy
well you have to understand that this is froyo and it have different file architecture, so some apps will not work well

I used feeds on JG8 with no issues at all.
Yeah true, different architecture but then again, it was included in the fw and is actually quite a good thing to use. I prefer it over FB and twitter widgets actually.
