iPhone Generation : 2G Unlocked : official Current Firmware : 3.1.2 with baseband 04.05.04_G Current network: celcom iTunes Version : 9 PC/MAC : Win7 Jailbreaking software : redsnow Problem Encountered : my signal reception very low.. sometimes no service Steps Taken So Far : using other software like spirit, blackrain but still no hope i got this phone from my uncle. but he said there something wrong with the reception. first time he encounter it when he want to update to 3.1.3 . after that, he try to downgrade back to 3.1.2. but the problem still there... I try to jailbreak again with other software.. still no hope. please halp me >.< i hope there are no hardware problem |

Unlocked : official Current Firmware : 4.0.2 Current network: hotlink iTunes Version : 10 PC/MAC : Win XP Jailbreaking software : no Problem Encountered : unknown data usage Steps Taken So Far : restore fresh copy and do nothing to it Hi, i just bought iphone 4. The firmware is 4.0.2. The phone uses data by itself even in standby mode. I tried restored it and didnt sync anything to it and just put there overnight. It uses 500Kb++ data. Does anyone know where the phone is using the data? Thanks. |

But i havent install any apps, so no push notification;
and for mails, i not yet setup any account. I just restored it and didnt do anything extra to it, and it uses data... |

Hi all,
Really need help... I dropped my iPhone 4 this morning and the whole back portion cracked and part shattered. Can anyone tell me if there is anywhere in kuala lumpur that I can send the phone for repair ? |

Unlocked: Official Current Firmware : 4.0.2 Current network: MY MAXIS PC/MAC : Win XP ITune : Latest Problem Encountered: Is this normal when you open the camera app and you look at the screen it has waves across the screen, but it doesn't affect the pictures when you take it. You can see it when the app is open its like live waves waving across the screen. |

Hmm here's some pictures I took with iP4 using the native Camera app. Note that the pictures are grainy, totally not what I've expected after seeing so much review about how great the camera is (among smartphone that is). Comment anyone? Really worried whether the camera spoil or not..

As topic said, my girlfriend's iPhone is water damaged. went to apple, and the warranty won't cover for water damage.
tried everything, like putting in a rice bag, using hyppo. yet, the iPhone won't switch on. any ideas? how much would it cost to repair? or is it better to just buy a new one. -.- |
