try search at garage sales, there should have the repair service for iphone

if there is no visible crack or dent go and claim for warraty..
thy will replace u a new one.
if warranty over, try search around for service provider like crxr..

claim warranty if there is no obvious crack or dent or whatsoever..
if warranty over.. go find iphone service provider like crxr, he's quite reputable in providing such service..

1 year. I dont think you can claim warranty if its a human fault.

Problem Encountered :

my 3G seems difficult to connect to any connections lately. i thought of upgrade d firmware to 3.1.3. (as im still on 3.1.2). so i just wanna ask bros....wat happened if i click restore in itunes? will it restore to 3.1.2 or wat?

Have you try reset network connection in the settings? When you click restore your phone will revert back to factory setting. In your case, after reverting your phone OS will be 4.0.2.

I dont suggest you to have 4.02. Will be very lag for i3g. Maybe you can try manually upgrade to 3.1.3.

Download it @ http://forum.lowyat.net/topic/1223378 (look for 3.1.3 i3g firmware).

After downloading, plug in iPhone. Put your phone into DFU mode (google for the steps).

Lastly, alt + click "restore" in itunes and choose the .ipsw file you downloaded earlier.

Added on September 5, 2010, 7:18 pmit got stuck at apple logo (maybe at 80%), then i unplugged it. next thing i knw i see "itunes connect to cable picture"

did restore many times, but failed.

You should put your iPhone into DFU mode. Not recovery mode.

DFU mode:
10secs holding both power + home
10secs release power button, continue holding home button.

Total : 20secs

After that you will see your lcd screen blank ( in black).

And repeat the restoration process.

oh oh.....how do i get out the "itunes connect cable" picture?

i noticed the same thing on mine. umm, maybe its the vibrating thingy?? since everything else is so sturdy, and only the vibrator (sounds so wrong) is the only movable part, should be it i guess

that's called recovery mode.. No need care about that, just hold both home and power button as i suggested earlier.. you should restore your iphone when the screen went black..

Ive been looking towards Desire/Nexus One(bigger screen size) but those two have crappy battery life compare to Iphone 4..

i think i found a bug on my ios4.0.2 ... or even ios4 ...
when i wanna terminate my apps ... when i terminate sms apps it will hang , but if i off 10 other apps other than the sms apps .. it will smoothly ...

but once i delete the sma apps it will hang @@

may i ask is iphone 4 currently can be listed as a STABLE phone?
as i known the antenna is jus a small matter occurring by jus SOME of the phone at the first batch rite?

dun worry abt the antenna, those are overblown. the real issue is the proximity sensor. iOS 4.1 should fix it
