Hmm I seems to have some issue with my newly purchased iP4:

1) There seems to be some wavy effect when using the camera (photo & video). But dissapears after some time. (I need to power off then power on again for the carrier to be detected back..)

2) The signal will suddenly drop to 1 car (no carrier text) when leaving the phone idle for about > 3 minutes.

Is it weird for having such issue?

* Using iOS 4.0.2

iPhone Generation : 4
Unlocked: Official
Current Firmware : 4.0.2
Current network: MY MAXIS
PC/MAC : Win XP
ITune : Latest

Problem Encountered:
Is this normal when you open the camera app and you look at the screen it has waves across the screen, but it doesn't affect the pictures when you take it. You can see it when the app is open its like live waves waving across the screen.

Hmm here's some pictures I took with iP4 using the native Camera app. Note that the pictures are grainy, totally not what I've expected after seeing so much review about how great the camera is (among smartphone that is). Comment anyone? Really worried whether the camera spoil or not.. sad.gif

bro...juz because it's a "great camera among smartphones" it doesnt mean it's as good as a dedicated camera. for cameraphones u can only get so much quality due to the tiny lens and sensor. very little protons can go in so the ISO has to go up to compensate, but noise go up as well. no matter what backlit sensor la what la, u can't defy physics

nothing wrong with ur camera. if u wanna take better pictures i highly recommend u to get a digital camera. even cheap ones will do.
Well that is a relief. Maybe it's because most of the pictures taken with iP4 that I googled is superior than mine. Hmm, perhaps I should try outdoor instead.

There's a bit of confusion there, couldn't login to LYN or couldn't display the page at all.
