U rite, if compare to last time sure can consider very cheap, but I still prefer upgrade other things such as SSD or GC if I got money biggrin.gif

Reading this thread reminds me of DFI's promise to release a program called Smart PWM for their boards. Until now, it's no where to be seen. Piff

On the fly control of voltage and phases. From the advertisement they made, users can see the current draw from each PWM phase live in Windows.

Yeah but the program never came. Kinda sad with what DFI is today. My Lanparty motherboard is forever alone.

DFI mobos are prone to RMA.
Giving chance to fully take control of PWM phase on hand of end users is wrong & deteriorate the situation.

gskill ripjawsX in action on x58..running in tripple channel memory mode...

achieve 4k uncore with only 1.28cpu/vtt.. shakehead.gif shakehead.gif ..

however, this is on XMP profile, i just got it from the shop..it doesn't guarantee stability, will perform some test later..

but, to achieve this uncore clock with auto QPI/v is superb man.. rclxms.gif

Can x58 run with 5 sticks of RAM?

Edit: I tested and it works. However, the x58 documentation does not include 5 module operation. Just in case someone needs the idea how to put the modules:

Three modules: 0-1-0-1-0-1
Four modules : 1-1-0-1-0-1
Five modules : 1-1-0-1-1-1 (NOT 1-1-1-1-0-1)

In 4 or 5 module operation, x58 will still operate in triple channel mode. Unlike some claims in forums that x58 will fallback to single/dual channel.

Board: DFI LANParty DK X58-T3eH6
All are 2GB DDR1333 module. Although different batch, different size, and a different brand.

Maybe I need to look for a piece of 2GB module to complete the 6 slots. If only I can find another piece for RM22 again. laugh.gif
