I changed my motherboard to wake up with keyboard hot key only aka Ctrl+F1 etc. Power button will not wake up the system now. And you know what, so far it works fine! Maybe my casing's power switch is not good already, giving intermittent signal when pressed(?)
I am changing the phases and phase frequency to reduce PWM temperature. What I noticed so far is, 2 phase is cooler than using single phase. Tonight is to find out about the phase frequency.

Lolzzz Ngam2 I got a brand new set of DX58SO to let go in garage sale keke. Saw Roland did dram 2k before with the same board. But not sure whether it has issue with resume or not lol. But note that the more u pay the more features u get. Fork out few bucks n grab a nice mobo like R3G. Or EVGA E770 n R3E these two confirm will satisfy ur needs.

QUOTE(gengstapo @ Aug 11 2011, 10:43 AM) Well, Im thinkin' bout Gigabyte x58 UD series. Any comment? Ive never used a Giga X58 mobo before. Perhaps u could gv it a chance n pls share ur experience here. But on SB platform, their bios is getting worse. The multi level LLC is kinda sucks. Bad voltage control, accuracy, lack of mem subtimings tweaking resulted in users more rely on auto settings. P67 UD7 has bad PCB layout too. The top most PCIEx1 is blocked by NF200 heatsink n onboard power button is placed upside down lol. Thats why i sold it at dirt cheap price of RM700

R2E ppl...
do you guys ever encounter problems with the onboard LAN whenever you are on serious overclock settings???
I don't mean those tiny voltage increaments, I mean those >4.0ghz or those >1700mhz with >3400mhz uncore...
this is the thing that happens...previously everything is a-ok but as soon as I load my 4.0ghz settings, LAN becomes unstable...games DC whole night on me, FTP disconnected and slightly slow internet connection...is not slow in terms of the connection, its slow to 'start' the connection...once I entered a url and hit enter, i takes a second or two (maybe up to 5) before it starts loading up...
If stock, no problem..
another thing is, if I hook up fans on the 3-pin header next to the second LAN port, the port becomes unstable...symptoms as aforementioned...
Does anyone ever experience such problems, even not specifically on R2E...

Not generalize to Asus mobos as I don't hv this USB issue with MIVE since P67. My Giga UD7 also didn't hv this problem.

Just woke up and check memtest test 8, and BAM!!! everything is OK! 3600MHz uncore with 1800MHz ram CPU at 2700MHz (not yet set to 4GHz) Now I'm LINX'ing and will start online gaming once it passes all 200 times... If still the onboard LAN becomes crazy, I'll have to go and buy a PCI/PCIe LAN... Attached is my settings....
