nothing bad will happend if you disable or enable the feature bro..c1e function is quite similar with EIST..it actually protects your cpu from overvoltage.. if you disable the c1e function, it means that the voltage that was supplied to your proc will be maintain...disable c1e function usually does help in oc..that why most people who oc, they disable that function in order to get their desired voltage.. |

have you tried pumping more vcore dude..
try 1.3-1.35v.. intel's specs on cpu/VID range tells that it should be in the range of 0.800V-1.375V.. is still safe to be within the range... try to set dram freq the current setting, and try to push more vore.. |

QUOTE(monsh @ May 21 2011, 03:58 PM) he's on r3e as well . don't pushed further dude..afraid you proc will burn.. for VTT its QPI/DRAM or something like that vDimm is ram voltage . i can go 4.4 but i dunno how much vCore i need to push even now requires a lot edi . my room feels like sauna >.<" adding waterblock for r3e really increases the temp like hell ! no choice but to maintain at 4.2 >.<" one thing i found interesting in C0 stepping proc's is that it can handle high vcores..i've reached cpuV till up to 1.46V..when trying to get 4.4ghz.. windows was able to boot up and running prime95 for several minutes..however, it crashes when on linx test... what's your idle temp dude, kinda weird when you are saying it is still hot even when it's full watered.. how many rad did you use..?? is quite hot imo..
my temp never reach 75 on 24/7 use..i'm using triple rad for the cpu, another dual for the GPU.. another question, did you manage to get 4k uncore and 2k on rams speed..??..notice the GT's you use on your siggy.. |

i almost kill my r3e tho...i'm not sure what's the reason..but is restart's suddenly and then i was unable to booted up even on default settings...
BSOD comes in whenever after BIOS loaded.. i was so relieved that it booted up safely.. |

cannot find any leak bro..
i'm using full block on board..at that time my QPI/VTT was at 1.4v@ 34xx uncore..is that too much..??..i'm on i7 965..can't expect to lower the vtt on c0's..huhu.. |

i don't leak is the issue here..coz the water in the res doesn't becoming lesser and lesser..
maybe is due the high QPI/vtt.. |

i've checked everything bro, no current leak at all..i think is due to my proc IMC or my setting for oc is not set correctly,
it's all started when my system restarts automatically when i was playing game, after that, i didn't manage to booted up to windows even on default setting..BSOD comes in after the window loaded... however i've manage to take not on the BSOD ss, it indicates something bad pool management or head someting like that with the code 0x73fe6473 and memory management error 0x0000003e.. i'm quite scared to oc now..afraid will loose my board for the second time and it take quite some time for rma.. |

that's what i suspected too..but, i got no extra rams to try..
i can hear an 'eeee-eeee' sound on the board and it is obvious especially when extracting the files.. besides that, i'm facing some kind of lagging or jemm for several seconds when playing games sometimes..huhu.. |

last night instead of 3gb of rams, my system detected only 2gb..
i've took one stick out to find which stick is the culprit..however, i found that all stick actually works after trying each stick on only one slot..after that, i tried each slot...all slots are working.. trying to re-slot back all the rams, 3gb detected back.. |
