wish all your problem solved. bring your own lube ?
*
No. since first time service, the service charge is free, so use their lube first.
I plan that 3rd service (10k service) that time I will bring my own Full-sync lube as the following service will be 20K.

Added on October 26, 2010, 9:34 amThis service centre small a lot compare with the one at USJ.

I think is fine.... 1st service i used Helix Hx7 .. (semi-synthetic)..cheaper (bought at carrefour) then petronas syntium 800 .. feels much lighter or quieter then before 1st service
2nd service.... i kasi hentam masuk helix ultra...(fully synthetic) ... i know people say waste.. cos just 5k.. nevermind laa... bought it quite cheap at tesco (rm139)... doesnt feel much difference though compare to semi synthetic.. but well.. if the facts and figures are right... is it at least 50% better then Hx7... so why not tongue.gif

bro, do they return you the balance of the engine oil?
just now i request for the balance, bloody hell the service advisor said finish pour 4L. Which I don't believe.
Normally 4L won't finish pour one, still will have some balance.

did my 1K service @ Puchong service centre. reach there 8.45am, leave there 11.30am. quite long to wait. before leaving, ask can bring own lube or not, was told can bring own lube, next service bring my own lube then.
Total cost me RM180.80.

Syntium 800 Engine oil - RM97
Oil Filter - RM12.22
Gasket, Drain Plug - RM 3.56
Magnet Trap - RM68

I remove the screen wash RM5.xx (luckily I asked, they just add in those screen wash liquid only, which I just put it in myself on Sunday)

sad.gif balance engine oil never give back to me.
didn't do alignment & balancing for me, said the person is not around, ask me to come back again next time.
fender paint (can feel the different where the surface "kasar" a bit where other place actually "licin") need to polish, have to bring back to HQ @ USJ where I told them I don't like that place service attitude.

Well IMO i think putting the magnet trap for first 1k, and 5k service is advisable as there is a lot of metal shards that will come out in the first few thousand KM of the engine running as it runs it.. This is to prevent the shards from causing minor scratches on the piston head which will increase FC and reduce compression in the cylinder causing power loss..
