There is no harm taking your MyKad with you. If you need to renew your passport at the Malaysian High Comm in London you will need your IC.

Yes, financial evidence = bank statement / financial affidavit or anything that resembles proof that you can support the cost for the duration of your studies.

And you should bring it along. Better safe than sorry for crucial situations such as this.

Was so nice to have the Visa and Immi office taking their own sweet time in processing my visa. Lodged my application on sept 11 wit priority services and till now not a single email from them. Rescheduled my flight to next week sigh.

My friend had the same thing, he too on the 11th.
Yesterday (17th) we went to the visa place and they told us that they only open the packets of passports after 2pm. And to come on the 18th, which is today.

He had his flight scheduled on 18th 2am so we kinda made some noise there to get this thing done. We waited from 1 to about 4 lol. But he got on his flight just now.

I lodged for my visa on the 11th as well. Paid for priority service. I have receive email from Manila on Tuesday (16th Sept).

Today is the 5th business day and I haven't receive from VFS KL to collect my visa. Sigh. My flight is on next Tuesday.

Gotta thank yanhui95. I went to VSF without email confirmation (not even from that godforsaken Manila Visa office) yesterday (18th Sept) and managed to collect it. Rescheduled my flight straightaway after that with my agent and I'm now in Heathrow already.

On a side note, I am planning to reach my accommodation by taking the underground tube since my place is very near to a station. My concern is that would it be convenient to carry my luggage around while taking the tube? Cuz the walkways in the stations look really narrow and crowded. :<
