Another thing you need to know is in the UK when you insure a vehicle you have list the people entitled to drive it. If you are not permitted to drive whatever vehicle which you are not a named driver. Insurance is expensive if you don't have a UK/EU driving licence.This is totally different from Malaysia where with a valid licence you can drive someone else's car so long the vehicle is insured. The above don't apply to a rental vehicle.
