Anyone bought any insurance before going overseas?
Is Endsleigh insurance already provided for you when u go thr to study, dont have to apply?

Any benefit provided by government there?

Has anyone claimed VAT before? How does it work? I dont really understand it after reading their website...

For VAT, see point number 3 in this link, which is self explanatory.

Hmm I wasn't aware of this actually. For me, I just told my photo shop I wanted UK size and they did for me.

Anyways, maybe you could try checking if there is any photo service at Wisma MCA? I'm sure someone would cash into such a lucrative business haha.

And the actual mugshot for that'll appear on your visa will be taken during the biometrics session.

Hey guys i have a few questions regarding the interview part of the visa, from what i can gather its not necessary to wear formal (thats one thing i was worried about)

but uh, is the interview the same day as the appointment you made to submit your documents? or is it a separate thing where they will contact you separately?

Formal attire isn't necessary.

'Interview' is the same day and time, after they collect payment etc. It's barely even an interview, more like confirming some details and some casual questions.

I just got back from VFS recently. True that it's barely an interview. They just asked for your name & DOB and that's it.
