I need some help OCing my new 5400.

Motherboard : EP35-DS3
RAM : Kingston DDR2 800Mhz RAM ( 2 sticks)

Here's what i set:
RAM speed: 800Mhz
Multiplier= 10
FSB=333
FSB voltage: +0.1v (from default, only 3 settings: +0.1v,+0.2v,+0.3v)
MCH voltage: +0.1v (from default, only 3 settings: +0.1v,+0.2v,+0.3v)

CPU speed=3.33Ghz

It wasn't stable by default voltage (1.28xx), so i up it to 1.36xx and managed to run the 3D Mark 06 CPU benchmark (previously with lesser voltage it crashed). I assume 1.36xxv is still safe as the specs says the voltage between 0.8v - 1.36v??

Is this voltage good for this speed and also the temperature? I was thinking to OC it to at least 3.66Ghz...what would be the voltage that is recomended for this speed and the temperature expected?

I am only using stock cooler btw, maybe get a 3rd party later.

TQ.

E2140 1.60ghz 800mhz 65nm 65w
E6400 2.13ghz 1066mhz 65nm 65w

you can try out yourself. biggrin.gif
overclock also depends on motherboard and ram.
if you have budget, change the cap ayam psu to branded psu.
and maybe get a better cpu cooler. brows.gif
