Thank you Masch, do go all out perform .. but not when going against kop.. Pls don't use double digit in millions for player. it all seem to risky.. I trust RH not to.. please one wing back .. and another CM pls.. .. |

QUOTE(Duke Red @ Aug 27 2010, 02:03 PM) To be honest, I'm a little disappointed that some of you have turned against Masch so suddenly without even trying to understand his predicament. His personal life always comes first, as it should with any player. He has shown so much commitment and passion whenever he's played but it's no secret his wife has had a hard time settling. The problem already surfaced last season but she probably thought shed give it a go. Have you lived in Liverpool? It's not exactly a paradise. Clearly she still hasn't settled and now that he's got a chance to move and make her happy, he's taking it. We know he didn't feel that he was in the right frame of mind to play but it isn't as though he's suddenly taken a swing at the team criticizing us for forcing him to stay. I urge fans today not to have short memories and not be so fickle. He is a red and soon he will be a former red. He has played with all his heart each time and I thank him for his service. The time has come for us to part and I wish him well. Have some class and show him some gratitude. You might be a little disappointed. Me? I'm downright disgusted. Here is a loyal servant to the club who has to choose between the welfare of his club or the welfare of his family. He chooses his family and for that he's being vilified?YNWA And you know what else disgusts me? Fans who sing praises of a player one day, and vilify him the next. Reading this forum, especially after match days, has started becoming a test of patience for me. I'm tempted to say more, but I guess some things I should keep to myself. Added on August 28, 2010, 12:52 am QUOTE(azrulkamal240 @ Aug 27 2010, 02:31 PM) reason can only be a reason.. u guys believe masch wanna leave us becos of his family? come on guys, this is just a bullshit excuses i've ever heard... BS, meet BS.Added on August 28, 2010, 12:59 am QUOTE(digilife @ Aug 27 2010, 05:33 PM) Masch is ungreatful, fcuk him You know who else is bloody ungrateful? Ingrate.Added on August 28, 2010, 1:05 am QUOTE(digilife @ Aug 27 2010, 06:06 PM) he forgotten who help him to sort out his EPL playing days b4 he came to LiverpoolFC Some people also seem to have conveniently forgotten how he has contributed to the club. I guess now that he's leaving, everything he has done for the club is a thing of the past and fans are justified in vilifying him. Barca agree fee for Mascherano, Hodgson unhappy
full story QUOTE(Roy Hodgson) "There are a lot of factors I don't want to be drawn on too much, But it's not easy to defend his actions because professionals are paid to play and when called upon to do so, they should. I don't think players mean it as a challenge to your authority or the club's, but it's a selfish situation where they want to do something and then expect the club and me, in my position as one of the leaders of the club, to bow down and accept they are going to get their way," This post has been edited by sahathai: Aug 28 2010, 01:21 AM |

Spanish media reported the deal was worth around 22 million euros ($28 million). Liverpool confirmed on their website a transfer fee had been agreed but did not disclose what it was.

I think it'll be around 16-18 mil of initial fee.. the point is now how hodgson going to spend it.. there're several option:
1. to buy a replacement in defensive midfielder - I think Lucas is very poor defensively and Poulsen can't play every game week in week out. It will be a mistake to play Gerrard in a defensive role. 2. a much needed left back - I don't think it's wise to play Agger in that position.. he'll struggle against a pacey winger. Insua is doubtful to stay. So we're left with Aurelio and Kelly(the right-back) 3. to add another 'good' striker - Torres seems to be injury prone in the last couple seasons... N'gog and Babel are inconsistent.. both have a long way to go to be considered as a striker for a club which challenging for the tittle. or 4. give up all the money for the Yanks to pay the loan interest.. QUOTE(Everdying @ Aug 28 2010, 03:51 AM) I don't think it's his fault.. When Rafa were forced to leave, everyone was thinking of following his footstep but at least Roy did a good job to convince the irreplaceable stevie and torres to stay.. meanwhile, Masch, Yossi and Riera already made their mind long before he arrived. |

Aquilani plans Juve stay
Alberto Aquilani has said he has no plans to return to Liverpool after sealing his loan move to Juventus. Aquilani joined Liverpool from Roma last summer following the sale of Xabi Alonso to Real Madrid, but he struggled to make an impression and has now been allowed to return to Italy. The loan includes an option to make the deal permanent and, while Aquilani says he is happy to have played for Liverpool, he is determined to stay in his homeland and force his way back into the Italy side. "England has been a very beautiful experience, but I am here to stay," Aquilani said. "I am a professional and Juventus is a fundamental stage in my career to get me back in contention with the national team." He added: "Leaving Roma was a difficult choice, but I helped my club resolve financial problems." Meanwhile, Juventus have announced that striker Amauri is expected to be sidelined for 25 days due to a thigh injury. It means he will miss Italy's Euro 2012 qualifiers against Estonia and Faroe Islands. sos : soccernet Added on August 28, 2010, 5:47 aminter 0 - AM 2 This post has been edited by normeck: Aug 28 2010, 05:47 AM |
