QUOTE(x13u5t3r @ Aug 24 2010, 02:42 PM) lucas's haters..where are thou..??? we lost becoz lucas started..the midfield is dead..hence more burden to the defense, and no supply to the front..the whole team changed to a useless mindless 5-star players clueless stucked on a football pitch.. hi! just like how we lose it against arsenal after lucas came in.. haters..i summon you..naw! last nite was funny. lucas in empty space, gerrard with ball. gerrard passes to someone who was completely marked instead...think it was johnson |

QUOTE(sahathai @ Aug 28 2010, 04:05 AM) I don't think it's his fault.. When Rafa were forced to leave, everyone was thinking of following his footstep but at least Roy did a good job to convince the irreplaceable stevie and torres to stay.. meanwhile, Masch, Yossi and Riera already made their mind long before he arrived. look at how the team has been playing.one wouldve imagined roy being a new manager coming in would inject fresh life into the first team and hopefully boost morale. but wtf, the performance last nite was utter crap. commentators going on about how it was a weakened liverpool team without torres and gerrard, but ffs its not like they were playing man city... the only highlights of last nite's europa league game to me were the turkish chicks that the tv crew panned to once in awhile. and now even lucas wants to leave, i cant say im sad about that news http://www.breakingfootballnews.com/englis...merseyside/7797 |

QUOTE(skeleton202 @ Aug 30 2010, 05:26 PM) LFC fan that doesnt visit the official site ![]() Added on August 30, 2010, 7:42 pm QUOTE(led_zep_freak @ Aug 30 2010, 09:14 AM) Finally someone brought up the issue of Insua? Is that guy leaving already? If he's set to leave I hope the club doesn't waste any more time and just release him. Aurelio started in the last europa league game.Funny Roy should say he would like to sign another striker because I believe our main problem is the LB. We've resigned Aurelio but he has yet to be played (Benched? Injured? You can't even argue that he hasn't 'settle down' since he was a Liverpool player lolx!) and Agger cannot play there every game. QUOTE(Duke Red @ Sep 6 2010, 01:56 PM) This is true. Scousers are a proud bunch and despite the rivalry on the pitch, band together when it comes to defending the Scouse honour or way of life. You may or may not have seen a banner with the caption, "We are not English, We are Scouse" (attachment) but it speaks for itself. You'll note that former players like Jason McAteer and John Aldridge are Scouse, not English. In his autobiography, Jamie Carragher talks of his preference to choose club over country at any time. It is ever so common to find fans of Liverpool and Everton within families and friends. dont forget about Everton's purple kit sold for charity for rhys jones.Despite the on-field rivalry, fans of both clubs do come together in times of need like Hillsbrough or more recently when 11 year old Everton fan Rhys Jones was killed. Prior to playing "You'll Never Walk Alone" during our game against Toulouse in the Champions League, Liverpool played the beginning of a song that traditionally greets the arrival of the Everton team at Goodison Park - the Z Cars theme tune. ![]() why purple? red + blue |
