Yes, i forgotten tat Ngog too played WELL this season thumbup.gif
another positive point to live on , although we lost yesterday nite

i juz hope the 2 Holland guy, Babel and Kyut will improve as time goes by

not to mentioned, David Amoo hav yet to weave his magic season, Pacheco is strong wif his kick and runs, Kelly too is progressing well

mind you, under Rafa they will not given any major playing time

Come Jan, RH should look for a younger/stronger Central Defender as Skretel and Carra is losing the Hyppia/Henchoz combo type of defending of the Houllier era

we lost yesterday due to VERY POOR defending not only fr the Defence but also from the Deeper Midfield area

i posted here before the MU game that i will give more games before calling for Roy's head...i know he is working in very difficult situation...

but after last night's performance.....i am not so sure anymore...the biggest game of the season...and we were just toothless...with exception of Torres frightening the daylight out of Evans...

Is Roy serious that inadequate when it comes to tactic and formation?

I am saying it again, like a boring recorder..the table doesnt lie.. after 5 insipid performances, we're near bottom, with a minus 3 goal difference...and this is a squad with Torres, Gerrard, Cole, and several other reasonable names....

i can see we got play a lot young players which is good for the team. Spearing, Pacheco, Kelly and maybe other talented players are coming up but realistically speaking, we have to go for champions league spot in order to attract more player to come in.

we were lucky not to lose more than 3 goals. our goal from penalty and freekick. we're not so eager to attack. by looked at our match yesterday, its so similar to fulham and mid table team play when away match.

we need to be more aggressive and winning mentality, otherwise 4th place is impossible for us.

2nd goal is defend mistake. same with 1st and 3rd goal. heading ball is not so easy to save.

what a match between man u and liverpool. meireless look like a mini-sheneider to me haha not sure why he was replace. i tot he is better than poulsen. poulsen is good while defending but he didnt contribute much in attacking.

the only one with the hunger to beat man u last nite was torres. he keep pressuring man u defender. his work rate is incredible.

While watching the game last night, I was thinking, I will not blame big names like Torres or Gerrard to leave next season.

honestly, it doesn't matter to me if the scums win number 19 this season or no, all I'm hoping is just to bounce back and challenge the top 4 again. Am in no mood to post all my rants on RH, I thought we were great at defending and dull when it comes to attacking, I change my thoughts, we are now neither good at defending or attacking. Where are all the critics? Why blame Torres Jamie? I thought you have always liked to blame managers, oh wait, Rafa is Spanish

I've i've always respected anyone who wore our coveted Red jersey.....even if they were not a big hit in terms of success and trophies....except for one...Diouf...whom i label as a disgrace..(Michael Owen...well....too controversial of a topic....)

sadly, if Jamie is not misquoted by the press.......he is becoming one (at least to my eyes)....

That aside, we offered nothing as an attacking force and I can now understand why Hodgson's Fulham were abysmal away.

i am now worried....Blackburn became dull and insipid under Roy as well...oh dear..

There is no need to over-react to an opinion even if it is from a neutral fan. Please try to be a little more accomodating so that discussions can actually happen. This isn't an exclusive thread and I'd personally like it if more neutrals were to come in. If you disagree, post something constructive.

I guess we were quite lucky with yesterdays match, 2 goals without much attacking is nt bad... But im not impressed with the teams performance but im nt disappointed either... We went in with 4 new players in our first 11 n its juz early session... It takes time for the players to gel around so we should give RH some time..

Juz take Man City for example there are games wic they drew n even lost nt bcoz they weren't gud its bcoz tactically it went wrong n also some of them couldn't gel together...

I think the team will start to perform to their full potential some where mid session, but it wil b better if its sooner... Im starting to miz Kuyt, hope so he recovers fast n how nice would it b if Benayoun was still here, Maxi did pretty bad yesterday...

IMHO, its not only Maxi, Johnson also bad last night. in fact he was poor in last a few matches. maybe because of no Kuyt helping him during defending.

but Meireles quite good. our 5 matches only 5 points. it is poor start but we face 3 tough teams. so maybe we can expect many points after this.

the mistake of liverpool when season starting which can cost us
- the sale of riera > team lack of proper crossing
- the loan of aquaman - the team lack of creativity
- the chance of getting vdv > the team need creativity

the change needed for upcoming match
- maxi replace by babel > young and more speedy
- poulsen or lucas > 1 DM is enuff
- partner for torres > either ngok , jovanovuc or pacheco

taking into account from both games against birmingham n manu, i can see we look really shaky defending crosses.. at times we are so easily opened up and another talking point would be we play so narrow at times i feel like we are playing the diamond formation.  doh.gif

our defence is constantly being bombarded because we dont have a tireless defensive midfielder who ran every blade of grass to nullify the opponents. Its been a sore point but some delusional LFc fans cannot see that fact. ok fine. We been clearly exposed. I cant even recognised half LFc players, its much like a bottom table team assembled. We are LIVERPOOL FC, a team Manu fears playing then, not now, not when RH is there, not when we are in a huge crisis.

again, we will be still be ask not to be negative, but i can help feel sicken to the fact there we are even worse than graeme souness clueless LFc.

I'm asked to see last night game as a REAL turnaround of RH's Liverpool. The excuses for is already now more then all the years rafa was in charge.

If we get our points deducted (the tussle between RBS/cowboys), I'm pretty sure we will be fighting for relagation. that's is the reality. thats how bloody poor Liverpool has become. we are not the messenger of doom, but clearly the signs have all been there but we are butt delusional & arrogant to see that.
