yeah atheros sucks alot. i wonder why asus put atheros on this gaming series. should use intel wireless cards. my currently use samsung laptop pickup pretty well range even the model is intel 5200. intel 6200/6300 should works much better

can i replace my atheros AR9825 with the intel 5300 (half size i think) ?

should i change it myself or send to service centre (quite far... but free wifi card)

which service center mate? im thinking myself to send to asus center to change to better cards. or if can do myself ill .

can change by free at service center?

they have to repair my wifi card mah, so probably will replace it for me... i think...
the other option is to install my intel 5300 card into my g53, jeffery, you know whether it will fit?

I'm not so sure about it as I never done any homeworks on this WiFi cards thing.

As long its half size, should fit...

if i wanted to order from xoticpc site, how am i going to use this forwarder called comGateway service? all i can c they only direct shipping to my bill address using USPS. any advice?

save shipping cost from xoticpc from sending to malaysia by sending to comgateway since shipping from US-US should be free for this item.
then paid around $100 to get item shipped from comgateway to malaysia using DHL safe and secure and get within 1 weeks

as i can say, the atheros card not as good as my samsung laptop that im using now with intel wireless 5200 card.

My Atheros is okay, though. Pretty stable, IMO.

its just mine that is not working properly (classic unlucky case...), coral just wants a better wifi.
oh yea, i found out why my spacebar was curve, the metal pieces were bent, so i tried my best to flatten it.... now the curve not obvious....
