Flashed to OpenDesire 3.6.1, the vanilla UI really gives a different user experience. It's not that bad, but it's really not that polished compare to the sense UI. I can survive with it but I still think that Sense UI is the better option now - I think for me the HTC widgets (such as mail, calendar) are quite important. Kudos for HTC for making Sense UI relevant OD gives a a quadrant score of about 1.5k during first run but somehow I feel it's more laggy (maybe the way the applications menu works) I'll probably see myself using OD when HTC refuses any kind of update for Desire Gingerbread (which I really believe so) but there's one for OpenDesire. For now, I nandroid back to NextSense 7.0 (and it works!), business as usual

I got ur feeling there samurai.i flashed 2 OD twice yesterday. When im on OD, i felt as if somethg is missing. I dont have all those widgets anymore which i depend so much but when i flash back 2 nextsense 7, i felt wanting 2go back to OD. it just gave me a different feel to android, and in a way, makes it felt more interesting. Lol.mayb i will flash again when sense got boring.

Hi all, I've released two more android applications and I believe you will find them useful (i certainly did, that's why I developed them): Wifi Toggler - http://slideme.org/application/wifi-togglerScreen On Toggler - https://slideme.org/application/screen-togglerQuick Overview: basically they're replacement for your search button when you long press it, used to quickly toggle your wifi on or off OR screen timeout to never timeout (always on) or restore screen timeout setting. Enjoy Do check out my other android apps: http://slideme.org/user/mlbl

I just did quadrant score 1125 I think.running on next sense 6 with performance governor on set cpu. Is that bad?

QUOTE(bryan_823 @ Aug 28 2010, 01:19 PM) You are a devil becoz no one told me like that when I first got my Desire. I waited for more than 1 month stupidly for the official Froyo to come out. But actually I should have root it and get Froyo with A2SD+ on the first day I got my Desire. The A2SD on official Froyo is just crap.

Common sense la. i was using the ondemand governor with max at 900+ mhz and the mhz was at max ....it still lags. now that i removed setcpu its slightly okay abit. I installed again now lol. but just using 1 profile for screen off, setting it at max 600 min 200.
