some of these ads are just fakes to get you to come to the shop..
i found one selling for 199 in puchong at an accessories shop behind tesco..
once i drop by they say that model not selling anymore..
just the newer neon style bars.. and guess how much that is selling for.. RM600!!
bloody scammers..
best if call ahead n confirm they have ready stock n with that price..
but then again they could lie and say they 'just' sold the last set.. 

just wanna update my search for used waja

just bought a 2000 manual waja....almost 10 years old car.....but i got it from a fren......hopefully its worth it

as the car is quite old.....there is few repairing need to be done, other than that the car is quite nice......these are few things i think i should do:

-top overhaul, including change the old gasket and seal
-timing belt and water pump
-change clutch plate
-flush the gearbox
-install front strut bar

how much the estimated cost for all above??is there anything else that i left out or should i do??

btw.. any waja owners here still using stock cd player with no mp3 support, why not upgrade abit to my neo player? (check siggy below)
i sold my waja cd player easily for 150 on mudah..

there are few type of 4g93 / gsr.  mine was of gsrt ck or dohc 4g93t with mivec head and custom made parts to accommodate the aggressive head.
spare parts was plenty.  dyno result shows a lousy 270bhp on flywheel to protect the almost stock tiptronic gearbox.
i could say the reliability is about the same with 4g18p. a few friend had been using 4g93t on their waja for 5 years without any problem; provided that due care was practiced.
normal driving style with 'kepishh!' overtaking sound    return about 8.41km/l or 0.24/km using bhp and caltex ron97. just stay away from the lousy shell's v-power 97 for spirited driving.
perhaps, you could go for dohc 4g93t and just de-tuned it by removing the turbo and use proper piggyback management.

hi guys....wanna ask u all.why  my waja coolant fluid is decreasing in the radiator a bit.i've check the reservoir and the level is still the same.need 2 top up the water every day before go 2 work.huhu
