Typical msia style ---> lousy business strategy, syok sendiri only while in korea, the telco oredi got 50k pre-order since nov17th.

I'm surprised for such high capacity of pre-order in Korea when Samsung has Galaxy Tab too. I thought Koreans are very proud of their own brand?

Despite the supposed sense of patriotism, when faced with the fact that their Tab is overpriced and even Google themselves admitted that the current Android OS is not suitable for the tablet, I'd say that the Koreans are smart to see which device will float and which will sink.

Bout the date of launch, i was first told on 26th, then now 30th. hopefully this time is right. some even said 2nd of Dec. i think you're more precise on this

There will be host-by-Maxis iPhone fulfilment (abt 3.5k units), selling of iPad device by AAPR (abt 0.6k units) and data plans event at KL Convention Center next Sat-Mon. That is the info I got from my Maxis insider just now. They'll probably be separate launch events by the different AAPRs with respect to their iPad launches. I know Machines already have their stock allocations, already saw pictures of their stock in boxes stacked high full of iPads.

Take all this with grains of salt, all I have to go with my insiders with no documentations.

LOL, I've hung up my license to do gathering these days, looking at my rep in here looking unfavourable. Can ask the other guys to do so, and I'll come. Or we can do it as an impromptu gathering at a selected AAPR branch, so that new buyers of the iPad can head straight to the gathering to set up their iPads and get tips and tricks from seasoned iPad users.

Come to think of it, you're a seasoned iPad user bro. Can you organize a gathering?
