1) I'll be getting my friend who works in SG to buy me the iPad. I'll order it through SG Online Apple Store and get it shipped to her office. I'll be paying via CC, and does anyone tried using CIMB card before and it went through?

2) If she doesn't open the packaging and let it sealed and unopened till hands it over to me, is there any possibility that she will be taxed even for just one unit?

3) The Online Store shows SGD 728 for 16GB WiFi version, is that the final amount I'll be paying?

Anyway, saw one seller on Garage Sales that only charges RM 100 extra for all SG sets. I find it quite reasonable considering RM 100 includes handling and delivery fees.

Haha. After all the predictable hassles, I think I'll just get from one of the sellers here.

After calculating, it is more or less the same if I get from S'pore, I still need to buy those basic accessories eventually.

Ya, a new casing will come in later when my wallet is recovered because as an avid photographer, I definitely need the camera kit. Here it goes. So for me the kit is more essential to me than the case, for now.

But well, wait till my wallet recovers, in the mean time steal neighbour's WiFi connection, can't afford to get another MiFi unless a used set.

Hahaha. Not going to sell no matter what, shared with main line, each of us only bears RM 68 and can use it at the same time at different places with no limit on download.
Every month, download at least 30-40GB.

I hate this kind of feelings when I came into the office happily told my colleagues I have decided the iPad over the lens and they are saying I'm wasting my money... When they asked what am I going to do with it, I had 10001 and reasons to debate but I failed just now to utter out a single out.

Haiz. But don't get me wrong, these colleagues are superb people just that they are worried of me being a fresh grad.

Anyway, I'll be getting one later and I'm sure I'll be the happiest child on earth. Let's hope my judgment is accurate this round.

I'm using company's phone Nokia E71 but then my data SIM card is forever stored in my USB modem connected to my laptop.
