fr wat i see, maxis will be selling the data package more and the Ipad will come in as a "sweetener" only, expect the Ipad to be selling abt rm200 below the SG market price and the data package to be price at the current promo of rm99/6GB quota wif a min 12 mths contract

Interested to get a 32g Wifi + 3G but was hoping Maxis deal will be much sweeter.

From my quick check, a similar AP new set is priced at less than RM2700.

Can someone give me some guidance, does it make more sense if I get an AP set and subscribe a RM48/mth Maxis data plan instead. I presume once Ipad is officially launched in M'sia, AP sets can also go to Apple Malaysia for warranty.

It has been postponed to 30 November for some reason.

The price would be slightly cheaper compare with others country due to tax reason. Malaysia is 0% tax.

Price range is between RM1599 - RM2599 so you can imagine the price for 16gb WIFI.

It said confirm launch 3rd Dec and 16G Wifi is RM 1,800, but some model like the 64GB and 3G is cheaper than Singapore. Way to go Don't know how true is it.

Device prices as you posted before, I believe. Just that if you care to report it again, post it with disclaimer and clear statement that it is the projected price. Maxis does not sell iPad at discounted price since they are offering prepaid data packages.
