i think benny mention b4 that the CIMB thingy is flash based so might not be able to view using ipad.....he prob can asnwer u

my iPad is now up to date 4.2.1 software version...i notice that the iPad screen lock is switch to mute button...did i miss something?

that is one of the changes.... can change the button back to anti rotation if u JB tats all i can say lol

screen lock to mute button is normal for that

It's okay to do anything you want to with your iPad, just dont discuss it here, *ahem* or otherwise. Malaysians dont have the will power to stick only with the basic jailbreaking and not to traverse into the realm of pirated apps. That's the reason why jailbreaking discussions are not allowed.

The ESTIMATED price range for each iPad is

Apple iPad 64 GB WiFi RM2410 - RM2435
Apple iPad 16 GB WiFi + 3G RM2210 - RM2235
Apple iPad 32 GB WiFi + 3G RM2520 - RM2540
Apple iPad 64 GB WiFi + 3G RM2860 - RM2875

These prices are mere speculations, do not take them seriously!

Take it with a pinch of salt, maybe the price would be cheaper than Singapore as those prices are estimation only.
Fyi, Maxis data plans will not have any activation fee, or contract period if my info is correct. Cheers!

Once if Maxis launch the iPad ,does it mean for those ( me included ) who bought their iPad in Singapore can bring in for warranty claim to Maxis or Malaysia Apple store,if there in one

Have a really quick question. wanted to sell my Ipad gift out but went to the warranty page so it mentioned only ten months left.

My question is does the warranty starts at date of purchase and can I check on the country that my friend bought it from?

If I'm not mistaken, it starts on the day it is activated

but i haven't done anything to it. Still in a sealed box so I'm not sure why it is saying it's registered. I don't really want to cheat off any LYN forumers so I just want to make sure before I amend my post

Well I haven't taken it out of the box and the plastic cover is still there so I don't think I can check with that
