Even if the ipad2 is announced, it will be a while until it reaches asia (and maybe FOREVER until it's officially in our "tak BOLEH-land".
So, unless you have access to the US market you might want to consider getting the ipad now.  |

It doesn't matter where u buy it since all of them have international warranty. Hence claiming warranty in Malaysia when it's launched here is possible.
