meditation is widely accepted in Christianity, and meditation is a core part in Buddhism,

the basis of all religion have the same path way in a sense, even thou Buddhism is not a religion, the rules of conduct are of positive light in the teachings

so why do you need to add our own tainted human judgment into any positive conduct? Karma = you reap what you sow

are you sure there is no such teachings similar to Karma in the Bible?

Galatians chapter 6 and verse 7

Don't talk about nibbana first (far thing), but close thing like perfecting Morality and Generosity also hard to do. Not something you will see now.

Ven Mahamoganalla produced an arahant smile when he saw a ghost suffering. Want to know why?

This is like when a muslim tells you buddha is a prophet of Allah. how you feel?

So i always believe we shouldn't 'trick' the christians to believe in Buddha by telling them they can be a Buddhist and christian at the same time. Jesus and Buddha taught 2 very different things , one with a God, the other with no God.

Must show them respect they deserve. that's my idea. Sorry if i sound judgmental, not meant to be.

Gogo2, it's the same when others start to hijack buddhism and claim that Buddha is their prophet. It will sure draw a lot of ire from buddhists because it's not like that.

So it's the same thing, we cannot say Jesus is a enlightened being and that he taught buddhism (althought there is a lot of speculation of what he did in his missing 30 years).

It's the same thing when christians go around telling muslims that Allah in islam is the same as Allah in Bible..... sure make people fight one.

He felt compassion for the ghost, but at the same thing, he realized that he will not suffer that fate in his future lives anymore for he has exhausted all rebirths. With this , he smiled.

if they misinterpret it then its their fault, my answer to the question is crystal clear

if the christian trolls come, they are "trolling", what does that gotta do with my statement which is the truth? there is no trickery in my sentence

i provided the source, are you saying that im "tricking" people now?

its fine for people to be buddhist or christian but dont mix them up. they'll get what they want/need from religion if they stick to just one path because they can focus and they wont need to waste time working out and reconciling the clashes.

As Buddhists we should always respect other people's spiritual paths and not downtread them.

also, time to use the troll shield!
