I just saw one car with DRL today in the showroom... but SA not sure if Feb/March 2011 batch has it...

Anyone can confirm if the new 2011 Golf TSI have DRL lights?

If SA cannot confirm, how la we know....

How to get the 2011 car man? Car manufactured in 2011 probably have to wait for the January batches from the factory. Takes a month for them to ship here to Malaysia so most probably the cars are still on their way here.

Remapping really that risky one ah? What bout people who stay outside KL? Like myself, in Ipoh. If I remap my car, I'll have to do it in KL.... and if got any problem, I'll have to travel to KL to do it... I'll only do it if it is stable. If risky, I'll think I'll pass.

Someone should compile and summarise all comments on their new Golf and Polo (and Scirocco) and post in the first or 2nd page when we go to Version 2!

I heard 2011 cars are on the way. ETA end of Feb early March can get cars. DRL looks nice but from what I hear its an option. Must pay extra for it.
But since we Malaysia dont get to chose so unlikely it will come with DRL.

i also want to order the polo, but my SA not sure when the car coming, maybe late march or april he say.. sigh.. cos they need to clear 2010 model, so every month got different promotion as they say.. now i dont have car to use till then

I thought remap is just a one-time off only? Furthermore, the mapping can't be so hardcore compared to those R35, vtec turbo's isn't? and it supposed to be a standard plug and play chip and not consist of on the road tuning?

all sifu, i got my car last week and everytime i off my car it says check safe locking owners manual. do any of u have the same issue? golf 1.4 tsi

Added on February 17, 2011, 6:33 pmall the 2011 models come with drl light but VGM has ordered that it be replaced with the standard headlights till they start promotion for the DRL lights. so if u get a golf in march/april most likely no drl.
mine had DRL but VGM ordered FA wagen to change it

well i went to the showroom to see my car when it got there. and it had the DRL on. so i was excited till they told me VGM wont let the car to be registered.
no choice la.
